Can anyone tell me about the process of switching VA facilities? Are you typically brought on as the same grade as step or do they reevaluate?

Nice! I'm at the VA. I haven't seen anything yet. I did just receive an email stating it'd be in the next few weeks. It would be nice to see updated salary info.

Hey everyone, Has anyone heard when the 2019 pay raise is suppose to kick in for title 38? I keep checking the opm boards but the last update is still late February.

I applied online. However it was not HR asking me to complete the ROI, it was the unit manager. I assumed it was probably pretty subjective depending on the place. Hopefully they reach out soon as I am getting other offers, but would prefer the position with the VA.

Has anyone heard of doing your ROI before you are offered a tentative position? I interviewed and had my references checked and then was asked to submit my ROI. I was simply told I was one of the top candidates.
