I'm in Farmingdale's program now and it definitely should not be looked at as if you're settling or compromising your dreams. They have a highly competitive program where thousands apply and nobly 50 get in and after our first semester we lost 6 people due to lack of appropriate grades because you're held to such a high standard. We also have the highest NCLEX passing rate in the state. So I would definitely reconsider your thoughts on Farmingdale. I too wanted to go to Stony Brook but with timing I'm glad I ends up at Farmingdale. I hope this helped!

Congrats !!!! You'll probably get a packet in the mail that will tell you everything. Just a lot of health forms need to be filled out and you have to register for classes.. We did that at orientation. Once you get your classes then you can order your books and stuff. There will also be what scrubs and other materials you need to start classes. You'll also get an angel account and gmail email account for farmingdale. There was a lot of info at the orientation but I'm sure they will fill you in!

Yes it's this Friday but I think we also have to attend the schools regular orientation but I think that's on the 15th?

Anyone else hear anything yet?

I'm not sure if all the acceptances were changed yet on oasis. Mine said wait listed until now today it says accepted. I'm sure if you are actually denied it would change to that so if it still says wait listed I wouldn't worry yet. I called admissions and I was told letters are being sent out tomorrow!

I wonder if they have given out any notifications. Like if they know for a fact you aren't going to get in they should have informed the person already? I don't know just a thought... Maybe that means good things for us since we haven't heard anything. Also I don't know if we will hear today because someone just posted earlier how they have their interview today..

In another forum people were saying they send out the letters Monday December 15th! I had to already put a deposit for stony brook just as an undergrad because I need to continue with some sort of bachelors. What are you going to do about ncc?

What is everyone's plan B if they do not end up getting in? Especially now that it's so late in the semester I'm just curious what you would do if things don't work out? I know I put a deposit already at Stony Brook just as a health science undergrad to be on track for a bachelors degree and then I would apply to other programs for the fall. This is just such a long process! Lol

It could have just been scheduling maybe people couldn't make the days they offered so they added more days? I took a day off of work to go to my interview! Haha

So basically we should all just keep checking every day and expect something between today and mid January? Haha

I took my TEAS November 1st they also offered October 18th and I know people were already interviewing in October

I don't think you're at the top of a list if you we're offered and interview first. I wasn't even offered to take Farmingdales TEAS exam until they had already started interviews and those were the only dates I know of that they offered for the exam

Yea maybe it's rolling admissions at this point? And I know I applied to a school in Florida and their semester starts January 4th. I already decided not to go but if I had to decide between the 2 that would be impossible. And yea same with me about work it's a last minute resignation then, it's not really fair.
