  1. I was accepted to U of T last week! Very excited! However, I do not believe I am unable to attend school come September for personal reasons. Does anyone know if deferring the offer a year is available? I know it's probably a long shot!
  2. I finished up my degree in December, so all my marks have been updated and finished for quite some time! I honestly cannot wait that long to accept a spot into a program - I have been accepted into a Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs program that is set to start classes in two weeks. To decline a spot in a program I've been accepted to, to MAYBE get into a school in May or June, seems silly to me. It's unfortunate it takes them MONTHS to even update the file..
  3. Hello! I don't think anyone is in the same position as me right now based on all the positive feedback of acceptances; however, has anyone not heard ANYTHING? I haven't been rejected, accepted or waitlisted to U of T, Trent, York or Nipissing (obviously this school isn't a concern right now as its early for them!). I haven't heard anything at all - all my files just say my "application is under review" or "still be evaluated". Should I be concerned? I just emailed the three schools asking if I am missing anything which is slowing down my evaluation. I'm getting incredibly anxious! Thanks to anyone who can provide any insight.
  4. alianne - That's very promising, ahh thank you! Best of luck to you :) and congrats Canucker2014!
  5. alianne - my cGPA isn't that great: 3.2 (US transfer student so not all my credits count towards my GPA, which are unfortunately mostly grade boosting ones!), but my last 10 credit GPA is 3.52. I haven't received any emails.. so that's wonderful..
  6. Trent is my number one choice! Really feeling defeated now since I'm not hearing back from any schools..all still have my application as "under review".
  7. Anyone heard back from Humber, Trent, York or U of T yet?
  8. Hey everyone, Been following this thread extensively of the past few weeks - very excited for everyone! I have applied to Trent, Nipissing, U of T, York and Humber for September, with Trent and U of T being my number 1 choices. Does anyone have an idea as to when we will start hearing back from these schools? Already anxious! Best of luck to everyone :)
  9. Thank you so much both of your for your insight! I'm REALLY hoping the supplementary application will help with my overall application against my GPA.
  10. I had never heard of the Nipissing program before, thank you so much for the information! Do you know how it compares to other programs?
  11. Hi everyone! I'm starting this topic for those who are applying to 2nd-entry programs in Ontario, to start in 2015. A bit about myself: - I'll be applying to University of Toronto, Humber, Trent University and York University. - Will be graduating this December with a Life Sciences degree with a GPA of 3.1 - Extensive volunteer and work experience: recreational therapist, athletic trainer work study, volunteering in nursing homes, volunteering in physical therapy and occupational therapy clinics, Durham Hospice, and Lakeridge Health hospital I know my GPA is far from the greatest but does anyone have any insight if I stand a chance? Are programs in the science field weighed differently than those who have a 3.8 in say..psychology or any other social science? Any feedback/advice/posts are lovely! Thanks!
