  1. Remington looks at each candidate as a whole and not solely at GPA like many schools. If you meet the requirements, you definitely have a fighting chance! Good luck!
  2. Yes. I had the same questions as posted in my interview. It was fairly simple and informal. Basically just a conversation answering questions about yourself and your goals. At the end they ask for questions that you may have. Good luck!
  3. Avoid pine hills completely. It's not super close anyway but it's cheap and not very safe. There are also certain areas in sanford I'd be iffy about. But the Lake Mary area itself is very nice. Surrounding areas like Longwood, Casselberry, Heathrow, and Oviedo have nice, safe apartments and houses as well.
  4. Teas: 89.7% overall/science gpa: 3.2 I'm so excited to meet everyone! I live in Oviedo right now which is about 15-20 mins away from the school. The Lake Mary area is very nice. :)
  5. See y'all in January!!! :)
  6. Congratulations!! :) how was the interview? I'm nervous about mine but also so excited.
  7. I'm doing mine Thursday! Good luck!! The best advice I've been given is just relax, be yourself and be honest. Let us know how it goes! :)
  8. Not yet! I'm hoping for very soon though!
  9. Not yet. I talked to admissions and they said the early decision phone interviews will be set up in the next couple weeks and then letters will be sent out about acceptance shortly after the interview is completed.
  10. That's impressive. I loved my micro class. Idk about out everyone else but this waiting period is killing me haha
  11. I hope so too!! All I've heard back about is that my application is complete as well and they will be setting up a phone interview. I hope we hear back soon! What class are you currently taking?
  12. We have two 60lb dogs and one little 15lb dog. Finding a place that allowed my fur babies was rough which is why I'm not moving for a while haha
  13. Wow, you have a good little move to make if you get accepted! That's awesome though. I love this area. Hopefully we hear back within the next few weeks!
  14. That's what I hear! So here's to hoping! I'm originally from just outside of Charlotte, NC but I've been living and working here in Orlando for almost 3 years. My BS degree is in athletic training and sports medicine but I've realized I really need to get back into more of the medical side of things rather than rehabilitation. I really miss the hospital setting. Where are you from?
  15. Teas 89.7% and overall/science gpa of 3.2. I also have 4.5 years experience as a cna/unit secretary/phlebotomist in the emergency room, cardio thoracic, burn, and neuro icu, and a little psych and peds. I'm really hoping my background helps me stand out since my gpa isn't as good as I could be.
  16. I also applied for early acceptance. I'm very nervous about it because I really want to get by BSN as soon as possible. I got an email last week confirming my application was processed and all I had left was the phone interview. I'm really hoping to hear back about this soon!
