  1. During my interview, one of the ladies told us that most to all of the EAOD are going to be accepted and those who decline the offer will go towards those who interviewed. From what I was told all the EAOD are enough to fill the class.
  2. Congrats! What specialty did you apply to? crossing fingers I get to hear good news.
  3. I would email Nancy if you are curious about your status. I emailed her last week and received an immediate response stating that I am only being considered for the absn portion. Which is unfortunate but I would be happy either way because I can apply straight into the masters portion after the completion of absn.
  4. I haven't heard back from anyone since my first interview(bachelor portion) back in October.
  5. When were you invited to interview for the masters portion? I suggest you call Nancy or anyone from admin department.
  6. My interview is also next Friday! Good luck to us all :)
  7. Has anyone done the master portion interview?
  8. It will only show 2 of the 3 LOR on the app. As far as your incomplete items, I wouldn't worry so much unless you did not send your transcript. They are most likely backed up.
  9. Thank you for starting up this thread! Although I applied for the AMPNN route, I still consider myself to be apart of this thread in case they accept me for the ABPNN instead of the AMPNN. I submitted my application back in Sept and had my first initial interview in oct. The interview was very relaxed and asked basic questions about yourself like tell me about yourself, why nursing, etc. I don't recall if there were any situational questions. Best of luck to those who have upcoming interviews!
  10. I received an email to check my status on my application. I have one outstanding pre req but I'm sure that wasn't the case. I am waiting on 3 other programs but at the meantime, I am going to reapply for the summer 2016.
  11. Unfortunately I woke up to some bad news today, I didn't get in. Check your emails!l, Good luck to you all!
  12. From previous forum, seems like it won't be till Nov-Dec.. Such a long wait, esp when school begins in Jan.
  13. In case anyone is wondering, my application was received on 9/21 and this past Friday 10/9, I received the email stating it is under review.
  14. I have never heard anything like having to go back to get your BSN after your MSN.
  15. Hi! I just submitted my app this afternoon. Hoping for the best í ½í¸ƒ
  16. Hello all, Who else is applying to the MSN Entry level 2016? I've decided to create this thread as I have not seen any new threads for 2016 start date.
  17. Hi all, I will be reapplying to the master entry level in Nursing and would like some input on how to improve my application. This previous cycle, I applied to only one school which was Western University of Health Science. I am currently waitlisted, and am now looking into the next round of applications. My overall GPA is 3.1 with 3.4 pre req and my last 60-90 units is 3.4. I have a substantial amount of volunteer experience and have study aboard 2 times during my undergrad. I just got hired as an health educator and medical scribe in the ED. With that being said, what can I do to increase my chances in getting accepted the next round of applications. I am looking into applying to more schools, but I honestly don't want to take the GRE, so I'm limiting myself to what programs that does not require GRE scores. I am considering retaking some of my pre reqs as I know my gpa is horrible and nothing comparable to others. However, Im debating on taking new courses that certain program requires instead of retaking courses. I rather have the opportunity to apply to more programs than limiting myself to a couple of programs. What are your thoughts? Right now, I am considering on applying to WesternU, Samuel merrit, and University of San Francisco. I will slowly look into programs outside of CA, but would like to stay in CA. I am hoping that next year, I'll get accepted because I am beyond excited/impatience in getting into the field of nursing, specifically being a nurse practitioner. Therefore, to me, it's extremely important to do whatever I can now to officially get in the next time around. any suggestions/comments is truly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
  18. I, too received an alternate letter... Depressing. I suppose I shall continue my life with the recent job offers I received. It would be nice to know how this alternate thing works, in terms of who gets chosen next and what not.
  19. If you already received an alternate status. Then imma take that all acceptance were all given. Bummer:(
  20. me either, I haven't gotten any notification. So we would get notify through mail, not email? i don't see why they won't let the rest know their status if all decisions were made. Why let us wait for it..
  21. There's still the alternate emails to be sent out...
  22. Snailszy, what time did you receieve your email? I'm curious if they sent it out together at one time or if they are still sending them...
