Hey everyone - I came across this in hopes for some tips/well-wishes in passing the nclex-rn the second time unfortunately i failed the first time in 75 questions (yes i know thats an epic fail), i had to work my butt off in nursing school and was an average b student (with a few c's). i used kaplan the first time (in-person) and did all the question trainers as well as all the q-bank (minus ~300 questions) - after failing in july 2016, i re-started kaplan again and have been doing a lot better on my question trainers, I'm concerned because I'm not sure if I'm answering questions right or if I'm just remembering the answers? I just finished QT 4 and got 64%, i re-test in two weeks and just want to pass this time! Has anyone failed the first time with kaplan, reused them again and then passed the second time? i have a job in dallas waiting for me to start october 2016 and don't want to have to call them and tell them i failed---a second time please help!!!! thank you :)

sarahb2024 - have you gotten an official email or anything from childrens? i still haven't heard anything and i've emailed and called my recruiters office phone

has anyone heard anything from MD anderson? I interviewed like 4 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since they sent me an email saying they'd follow up within the next few days..which never happened

I got a call from HR last Friday about a panel interview this past Monday with 3 people from different floors--it was scary but I think went well! I just got an email today saying they would let me know later this week or early next week about next steps! Has anyone else interviewed?

Hi all! I just graduated in May from a school in NYC. I was interviewed via Skype for the july 2016 hemoc floor but didn't get it! the recruiter i spoke to wanted me to apply to the october residency and i just received an e-mail about doing a video interview - any tips?! I've never done a recorded interview like this before!! any tips would be much appreciated :)

Hey everyone! I recently came across this page from e-mails and noticed you guys are already making a group for the upcoming year! congrats to everyone that was accepted! I am a current bat student and LOVING it. It is most definitely NOT easy but very doable. If you guys have ANY questions feel free to ask! I am quite busy this semester so I will try my best to answer in a timely manner but we had people from the program answering our questions and I thought I'd return the favor! I did do my undergrad at Binghamton so I know quite a bit about the area and the university! good luck to those still waiting!!

I feel like there is always one person who feels the same way you do for each of these blogs. But I have a bunch of friends in the program now and they love it and are happy with it--also it's a 15 month program, I think some just choose to graduate in 12. But sorry you're not happy w/it. I'm very excited.

I think how it works is people who were accepted have 20 days to reply w their deposit and after they've given out all acceptances they go down the waitlist and accept from there unless everyone that was accepted accepts the offer and pays a deposit. That's how it was when I was waitlisted at Baylor this past fall. But There are like 70 members in the bat FB group now--not sure how many are current bats/faculty and how many are new incoming. Good luck though!

I used trulia and zillow to find houses/apts for rent--I trusted it more than craigslist (Prob safer too). I would ask around and see who else is lookig for roommates. Otherwise the apartments downtown (up and twin River and the lofts) I think have roommate matching.

What's your budget? There's apartment complexes that range from 785-1200 month or you gotta look into maybe findings roommate and renting a house/apt downtown for like 300-400 a month (some places include utilities and some don't ) for undergrad I lived in UP and twin River and paid around 785-875 a month. That included Internet, cable and all utilities. (Since its a complex). I don't wanna live in an apt complex anymore so my friends and I are moving to a house in endicott for $500 a month including utulities. Hope this helps! Hey scott5383! How was the program? I won't be working so I'll be able to focus on school work and clinicals. Did you like the clinicals whay was the hardest part of the program? Did you immediately sit for your boards? Any information is helpful!!!! Thanks!!
