  1. My only regret is not taking all the opportunities to learn and try new skills while I was a student for fear of messing up. Take any opportunity you have to cath a patient, give a med, deal with a nursing problem, etc., while you are a student and do not fear messing up. This is the time to grab opportunities and gain confidence by experience. Good luck
  2. I am a new grad working in the emergency room. I am having a real problem with getting nervous doing some procedures especially IV starts when the patients can see my hands shaking. Anybody got any tips on how to control this I know it will pass as I gain confidence :chair: but I'd like to get over it ASAP. Thanks
