  1. Lol I'd say just trying to stay on top of it bc our class is bigger?
  2. Yep, we got our schedule and background ck stuff this wk.
  3. Sorry for the delay future RN. I just added you. I'm not the best at paying attention to my notifications.
  4. Awesome! Congrats FutureRN! Look me up on Facebook @ Brandon Davis and I'll add u to our class group! Great to have u in here and thnx for the heads up. I'm trying to move everybody over there because it's easier to connect. I'm also wanting to go to green river they looked like a really cool place.
  5. Hey MissTee hit me up on Facebook should show under Brandon davis. I've got a group for our class started under WKU BSN class of December 2016
  6. Good question. They may have waited till they get all the letters back then send out some more info?
  7. Lol! Hey it happens! In the end we're all rns anyways, right?
  8. I pretty positive we don't do anything with our old advisor nemore. The only thing would be if you needed some class that u were afraid would fill up before we meet with our new advisor or something crazy like that.
  9. Change isn't always a bad thing! Lol I agree on getting people in the forum but any ideas on how? I emailed kristy Mayes earlier today about the shoes and she said as long as there white or black leather they should b fine. I researched the cuff and everything I read says most are bout the same. My friends wife is an LPN and she said bell is great but in my honest opinion I'm going with littman mainly bc 3M makes them and 3M is freaking awesome with about everything they make. The DPT program also has littman and my wife said they're fine. Well there u go guys all the info u need from someone who has 0 healthcare experience lol
  10. Lucky u! Lol is green river and scrubs express bout the same prices?
  11. Oops brainfart lol rninthemaking16 is in this forum
  12. SWEET! I'm in NURS102 on Mondays and two people in my group were accepted and MissTee from another post on here was accepted. I'm gonna tell her to join in here. I haven't got my scrubs, sphygmomanometer or that stuff yet but I bought the small stuff calculator, watch etc. What are u guys doing for shoes? I'm just wondering if we could get away with like black nikes with like a white ck? My wife is in the DPT program and she said she saw some ppl with two toned shoes.
  13. I'm not for sure that you can but she just said if you could, try and get one of these people for an advisor.
  14. Lol you sound just like me with shopping and review stuff. If it wasn't for amazon and eBay I dunno if I could survive! I literally price compare everything via Amazon and it only comes from elsewhere if it's cheaper and can get there quicker. I'm kinda disappointed that there aren't more of our fellow cohort on here. I mean I have researched and researched stuff about nursing school and all nurses is a great go to place. FYI my wife is a PTA at prorehab and in the DPT program and one of her patients was one of the ADN instructors and she gave her a list of who to try and get as a BSN advisor. Supposed to be real standup people's. I'll pm you the list in a short
  15. Ya, I'm so ready to go ahead and just get started! So are u in the 130 nurs 102 on Mondays? Have u decided which company ur gonna get ur stuff from scrubs etc.?
  16. Yup I got in to! I'm in group 2 to the bottom left of the class. So you, me and two others in my group is who I know so far in our class. Sheww that really was such a weight off my shoulders! Lol I'm just ready to get started!
  17. I congrats too! Doesn't it feel awesome!?
  18. LOL How awkward would it be if I hadn't got in!? Are you in nursing 102 this semester on Monday? There were 3 in my group that got in?
  19. I just received my AA in Ky and just applied to WKU BSN. In KY there is an agreement between the technical college system and the four year public university that says with completion of your AA or AS you satisfy all gen ed prerequisite requirements for your bachelor degree. In my situation having my AA actually let me skip 4 other classes for my BSN that I would have had to take had I started as a freshman at WKU. every BSN program is different with there prereqs so I would definitely sit down with my advisor and see which track gets you there quickest with your chosen BSN program. Hope this helps and feel free to ask me if I can be of anymore help!
  20. Ditto! Best of luck to you!
  21. Dang! You were way ahead of me! I waited till like end of July lol. Sounds like we should be in good shape as far as our record looks. I've had to work really hard to push my GPA up because I've got like 90 hrs but I've been able to hold at 3.3 overall and 3.7 in science. Fingers crossed and really biting my nails lol I'm so siked to find someone else on here applying!
  22. So did you apply for January '15 admission? We're supposed to hear Oct 1st. Geez! The waiting is killing me! Lol
  23. Anybody out there at WKU or in a program close? I applied for Jan '15 WKU BSN so hit me up if your close
  24. I just applied for spring 2015 and I've heard that people were getting in last year with 2.75. I think the program expansion has really helped widen the acceptance rates. Good luck to you!
