  1. I didn't pass the first time with Kaplan. But the second time around I studied for about 7 weeks with Hurst Review and Saunders. Kaplan lacks in providing good core content, but they offer tons of questions. After failing I decided to do Hurst. They were great! I had tons of SATA on the NCLEX and without core knowledge there's no way you can answer these questions. Good luck studying:)
  2. Yes, but just as a heads up, one of my friends got an email a day later after taking her exam. I'm not sure why I found out so soon but please don't be disappointed if you do not receive an email within 4 hours. Everyone is different. Best of luck on the NCLEX!
  3. Yes this is a very good idea! I felt like half my test was SATA! (I wish I was joking). But I passed with 75questions and you guys can too! :) Tips that helped me: You must have knowledge on core content. There is no way around it. I used Hurst and Saunders. Also when you are taking the exam, please read carefully. I can't stress this enough. Lastly, you must pick at least two but never all the answers (Hurst tip). Best of luck to all.
  4. I did the Hurst review, Saunders book along with the online Saunders questions, and Saunders flashcards! I studied everyday for about 4-5hours. I took a 50-100q test each day. Don't stop studying! Best of luck to you.
  5. I don't think they send emails in all states! Don't freak out! Stay positive
  6. Yes I live in Wisconsin! :) Thanks everyone!
  7. Hello! I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions! I didn't have to do the Pearson Vue trick! I was sent an email congratulating me on my approved license within 4 hours of taking my exam! :) Best of luck to all the future nurses out there! I did Hurst review, Saunders book, online Saunders questions, Saunders flashcard questions.
