Hi Laurab14, How many units did you take each semester and were you a working nurse when you were pursuing your BSN at FHSU? Are you planning to get your MSN? If so, are you going to FHSU again for your masters?

Hi ERnurse71, I also got accepted into the FHSU but I have to do statistics,patho I & II and the nursing prerequisites (Foundations and Transition) before I could apply for me it will be after Spring 2017. I am concern if I could handle the Statistics, Patho I and Foundations of Nursing (7 cr. hrs) for the coming fall semester. You said you have finished Statistics, how was your experience with that and how was your experience with Patho I? Is my plan doable (since I also work 3 12-hour noc shifts, although I don't have any kiddos to take care of)? I want to be able to take about 6-7 cr hours each semester and 5 in the summers. I have to take 32 cr hours to graduate. Can you give me some ideas on how the Statistics class flow--I not that good in Math so I am a little intimidated taking it online (any input will be highly appreciated).

Just want to hear your experience with Aspen University since I am considering to enroll in their RN-BSN or RN-MSN program. Any feedback will be highly appreciated. Hi jmuhammad10, I have been considering Aspen University for sometime now (I have been accepted to UTA, SNHU, Fort Hays). I just would like to be able to get my BSN the easiest and the fastest way while staying affordable. My main ultimate goal is to able to get into an NP program (Mental Health/Psychiatric NP). Can you give me any feedback on how you went about your transition from RN-MSN to having your certificate post MSN (from which school did you pursue your NP education after graduating from Aspen?). Did you encounter any difficulty with transferring credits from Aspen? If not, can you also give me any feedback on how you are doing now? If you had to do your nursing education again would you have still chosen the same path you took? Just curious--your ideas will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, it sounded like I better not be working or only working few hours/part time to have great grades in this program? What was your experience about your ADN transcript evaluation. Did most of your credits transferred and did you not have to repeat any Gen educ courses or pre-reqs? I have an ADN and a previous BS Psychology but wants to get BSN for better mobility in the future. I just want to get this done as soon as I can and do not want to spend a lot. I am practicing RN from IL. Is this program a good match for me...is there no problem with accreditation or not being recognized as a valid Bachelor Nursing Program? Do you have any suggestion regarding managing my work situation and doing this program starting this summer 2016?

How many credit hours are you taking in a sem? Dp you think somebody working 3 12 hr night shifts would have a hard time getting good grades? I have my ADN and wondering how your transcript evaluation turned out. Worried that the $8995 price promised will turn into 20K.

I am wondering about going back to school to get my RN-BSN and interested to know if anybody had any good or bad experience or some thoughts about University of Texas Arlington's RN-BSN Online...your comments will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing your opinion...I would like to develop my nursing skills but Dialysis seems like a good specialty to get into. I see a lot of demand for Nephrology Nurses. I would like to someday get into med surg or maybe telemetry in a hospital somewhere even just on a part time basis.

I agree, this is what really scares me...I worked as a CNA before in a nursing home and it was gruesome amount of manual work for me. It was OK since I was not using a lot of mental, decision making and problem solving skills like a nurse would need to do. I could see how a nurse could feel scared that his/her license was on the line every single day. I would not want to be in the same situation myself. Thanks for the feedback.

I am a new graduate RN and considering offers for a new job. My offers are from a Skilled Nursing Home/Rehab Facility and from a Dialysis Center. Which offer do you think I should take?
