Help please..What is considered a designated workspace?
Thank you! A friend of mine told me I had to have a locked office which I don't and she said most companies require a locked office. Do you know if Humana or United Health Group fall under those companies?

Help please..What is considered a designated workspace?
Hello, I am applying to work from home positions and I am noticing that a lot of companies require a designated workspace? i.e. Humana, United Health Group. Would I be able to set up an office space in my living room or do I need a home office? I live in a small 2 br apt with my child. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Going from Cardiac ICU to PACU
Thanks for your response! We will be doing laser spine procedures. From what I gather, the procedures take about 30 minutes. It will be completely different from cardiac and I am excited to learn more. Although I love cardiac!

Going from Cardiac ICU to PACU
Hello, I just recently accepted a job opportunity in a same day outpatient procedure clinic in the PACU. I came straight out of nursing school and have worked in the cardiac ICU the last couple of years. I am not exactly sure what to expect since all of our patients (except open hearts) were recovered in the recovery room. My question is how should I prepare for this position? Will my ICU experience be enough? Also, I would like to get a certification in either CAPA or CPAN when I become eligible. Which certification is better for an outpatient procedure PACU? Thanks!

VA Tentative Salary vs. Final Offer
Psychosocialist- I am currently in Master's level classes right now and will complete next year. I will have been a nurse 2 years in December and have my BSN. I was just notified my packet goes to board next week. If I am boarded with anything below Nurse level II, can I question their decision? Also, could you explain the switching jobs during orientation? I interviewed for 2 positions and one interviewer informed me you had to be in a position for a year before transferring. Is this true because I would definitely like to apply for another position once I get my Master's?

VA Tentative Salary vs. Final Offer
Thanks for the response JeckRN! I was wondering because I am pretty content with the initial offer and I didn't want it to decrease.

VA Tentative Salary vs. Final Offer
Hello, I have searched and I haven't been able to find an answer to this question. I was offered a tentative position and salary from the VA hospital. I was curious, does anyone know if the salary I was quoted will decrease or increase from the final offer? What are things that could increase or affect your final salary offer? Does military experience play a factor? Thanks!
