  1. I was paired with another CNA, and we worked together for about a week. I started working on my own afterwards. Be prepared for a lot of poop! That's a given with this job though. I had a wonderful gentleman pass away the day after I met him, and it broke my heart. Be prepared for that, but get to know EVERYONE your first day. A lot of the things you learned in your class will be thrown out the window. In a perfect world, you will do everything you learned. Take the time to do everything right. I hope I gave you some good advice, and good luck!
  2. Thank you RN403 for the help! I went in, and they hired me on the spot! I went there for my CNA clinicals, and they had a positive experience with us!
  3. Hello! I have a question about an interview! I turned in my application in person, and they called me 15 minutes later to set up an interview. They also told me that I need to bring my ID and social security card. Why do they ask for those? Is it used for verification purposes? As for my actual interview, what kinds of questions should I ask them? I want them to see that I'm prepared, and confident! Please help! My interview is on Tuesday! Thank you to everyone for the dips and advice, and I will let you know how it goes, and if I get the job!
