I'm excited and nervous!!

I applied yesterday with a 3.6 and a 72.7 overall score! Hoping to get in this fall 2015

Well that's good! I have a overall 3.5 GPA and I passed the reading and math portion of the teas. So yeah I'm excited to apply on Monday. I was waiting till spring term too to be able to retake the teas test and get a higher score. But what the heck I might as well apply now.

Oh wow! I didn't know that every time I went on their website I never saw the deadlines to submit applications on their website. I haven't spoken to a counselor but if I can apply for fall I will. I'm going to call the college on Monday. Thanks so much for this information.

I'm a bit early with starting a topic on spring term of 2016 for nursing school but I need a little encouragement ladies!! I have finished all of my pre requisites for nursing and I have taken the teas test once and made a 72.7 which I plan on retaking and I have a 3.4 GPA! Is that good enough to get into nursing school?? Who else is planning on applying to Seminole state or Daytona state nursing school?? Oh and I'm in the process of become a CNA so I can have flexible hours!!

Hello Everyone! Is anyone in the process or thinking about doing the prelicensure program in Florida??? I've many other people commenting other states but I have rarely seen anyone from Florida. I know the program is recently starting up and not as competitive as the other states. But hopefully theirs more people in Florida thinking about doing this school also!

tsm007 what made you go to WGU? And how was it when you first started the program? And what do you mean by limited lab time? Will there be classes where they offer lab time or will I have to do it independently? I guess my main concern is that I will be able to find a job after completing the program. One last question... what was your teas score?

ShondaJ I live in Florida so I believe I will be doing my clinicals in daytona beach at the halifax hospital. Not sure if I spelled the hospital correctly. But I am still not sure if I want to do it or not. I have heard a lot of good things about the college but I have also heard negative things. But it seems like it is good overall.

HELLO EVERYONE! I need advice on whether I should attend WGU online prelicensure BSN program! I live in Florida and am currently working full time at the hospital. If I do the program at WGU it would work with my work schedule and the hospital will pay for some of my tuition but has anyone completed the program? Or is in the process of completing it? Or knows anyone that is doing either of the two. I am nervous about the program being online and I know the school will set up mentors for each course but I am used to being in a classroom setting or having an actual teacher running the online class that I can email and ask questions. I work full time at a hospital in sanford and am looking into applying for the prelicensure program for August 2015. I have so many questions and worries about an online program. If anyone has ever completed or is in the process of completing please tell me how it is? Is it similar to going to an actual class and learning the information?
