That is very true. Thinking back on clinical experiences does help a lot. @TenCman I believe tell me about yourself can be expected on every interviews. Just a question to the ones who did their interview via Skype.. did you do it at your house/apt or did u opt for a different location? did you have to move your camera at any point?

Hello guys!! I have a Skype interview with them tmrw... I m so excited... I just got off the wait list due to a cancellation. Seems like the followup is in December... has anyone heard anything else? Can you provide some tips for interviewing via Skype and the type of behavioral questions asked...? hopefully i get to meet you wonderful people soon :)

Ah you were very lucky then @renardeau , I just called DC board and they werent the most friendliest.... they just shut me down saying nope nothing can be done. even for a temporary license!! I just need to wait. ..I am a little disappointed that they could not make any exceptions given that my start date is so soon. btw I am coming from NY and I actually came down there last thurs to submit my application at the DOH. I stayed in a hotel and had even found a place to stay. But seems like I will have to cancel it all. Its so disappointing that I already had the offer, but because of other circumstances that i have no control over, i most likely won't have the job...

That sounds great!!!! I am so excited. I have one more question. I am actually out of state and am having some difficulty getting my DC license on time. I applied for it as soon as I received the offer, but I doubt I will have it before the orientation which is next week. I literally have 12 days including weekends to get my license and find a place I nDC Were there problems like thid during your year? What were the consequences?

I am a new graduate nurse so any information will be really helpful. Do i need to prepare for anything beforehand ? Also are you still looking for a roommate? And are you still on the floor? @BZou I had my interview on Monday this week. so sep 22. they had interviews the whole day for this position. I got the call last week.

No emails nothing!! this wait game is killing me! anyone with any info ?

for those lucky ones who might get an interview with them, YES they did ask me a head to toe assessment. I was also asked how I would administer meds to a patient. I was very thorough. and they seemed to like my answers. I believe they are looking for someone who has at least had some CC experience.

Hi guys, I wish i had found this sooner. Just to add in some info. I applied to the Critical Care fellowship for both Manhasset and LIJ. got an interview for LIJ and the next day got an email saying they didn't select me. I believe most like its because I did not do my capstone or have any experience on a critical care unit. I hope this helps. This program is due to start OCT 7 as they told me. They were interviewing a bunch of people the day I had my interview. So I'm think they've already selected the people they want to interview. However the Manhasset application is still online. So probably they are still looking for more candidates. Hopefully this helps a little bit.

Hello all. So glad I found this thread. Iam applying for the Adult critical care track. I too did the ABSN program so I don't really have much to put for experiences. I was wondering how long are your letter of intent? Will one page suffice? Also are you all writing it in a cover letter format or an essay format? Thanks and nice to meet you all. I hope we can all get to TN.
