  1. Hi guys, concern regarding Reference Forms. If my two references come from one employer only, should I download Employer 1 form twice or one Employer 1 and one Employer 2 form? Thanks! Also, how to fill out the online form for my case? To those about to take the CBT, the questions in my set were mostly copied word for word from the questions/exercises found in the Royal Marsden Manual. No need to buy the book, just answer the test questions from their website and you're good to go. That's what I did.
  2. Hi! My friend just wants to know if NMC considers experience as Company Nurse in its minimum 1 year experience? She has 6 months company experience and 6 months bedside. Can this suffice? Thank you!
  3. Hi! I am about to take the CBT. Just want to know what documents are asked during the Assessment Stage considering I pass the exam. Can anyone please list them all? Thanks much in advance!
  4. Hi guys. Any chance TMC Clark will conduct another NTAP before the year ends?
  5. Heads up guys. I went to MMC and an HR officer said the training might commence on January (he didn't guarantee though). @pls04 it's ************ :) good luck!
  6. Hi guys. Any chance that TMC is still contacting applicants for initial screening nowadays? I wrote on their log book last September. Usually how long does it take for them to start screening again for the next batch? Thanks!
  7. Hey thanks for the info @daydreamxii. Any idea how many of the trainees does CSMC usually absorb? I saw the post about the job opening and it's quite confusing. Does it mean they are direct hiring or is it an opening for PGNT training? I believe CSMC directly hired nurses in the past and had them undergo pre-employment training. I have a friend who got hired last year without undergoing PGNT. I'm not sure if it was because of a backer though.
  8. @daydreamxii @kevzky123 I see that you guys have already undergone the screening process in MMC. As for me, I am still waiting for their initial invitation for screening. I just submitted my resume on 1st week of August. I think I'll push through with CSMC just for the sake of getting started at something. I might just drop the training if I'll have a really good chance at securing a slot in MMC training. How bout you guys have you decided yet? By the way, with good credentials, what's the average/maximum waiting time for applicants to be initially contacted by MMC? Or like how long does it take before they shred the resumes or something.
  9. Hi guys. Just want to ask for opinion. I really want to work in MMC but I recently got into the PGNT of Cardinal Santos which will start November 2nd week and will end on February. I'm wondering if I have to push through with CSMC (worth 10k) or wait for MMC to contact me. I don`t want to stay idle anymore and I want to grab any opportunity to practice asap even sans the salary. But the thing is the year is closing and hospitals (incl. MMC) are likely to start a hiring spree again (I'm not sure with this though, is this really the case?). If you were in my place would you commit to CSMC or wait for MMC to open its doors?
  10. Hi. I passed mine on Sept 8 (for the second time already actually; I passed first week of August too). They told me the same. Wait for 2 to 4 weeks. It's my 7th week already but no text or call yet. I'll keep you posted if they'll contact me. Kindly do the same guys, so we'll know how things are rollin :) good luck everyone!
  11. good luck to those who are presently processing their applications! do you guys have any idea if they are going to form another batch of trainees before the year ends? I just logged in my credentials last week and really hoping to be lucky enough to get a text/call within this year. thanks!
  12. I think they came last week of August. Not so sure about this though.
  13. @orangemouth gotit. :) i think i'll do just that, I'll pass my credentials again this week just to be sure they'll run through my papers. thanks!
  14. Thank you so much for the insight @peanut&buttercup and @paco-rn!
  15. Ohh i see thanks. :) I passed mine first week of August. A friend from inside told me they've been busy with JCI accreditation last August so they might resume tending to our papers this month. I'm just wondering what happened to your application last year? And if it's okay with you can you tip me off here if you already receive a text from them? I'll do the same. Thanks!
  16. Hi guys. Wondering if anyone knows when are the trainings for this year scheduled? And is there anyone who'submitted resume last week of July onwards who's already received a text message for initial assessment?
  17. Hi. I am 21 and a newly registered nurse. I am planning to work as a hospital-based nurse and study Law on weekends. Is this doable? I initially wanted to take up Master in Public Health while working but my father suggested that I do Law instead (he was a third year Law student but dropped out d/t work conflicts). I agreed enthusiastically because I also have great interest in the field. I actually don't have a strong conviction yet to be a lawyer but I want to enroll and see for myself if it's really for me. I wanted to take up MPH coz I have this lofty dream to improve the health policy of my country and create better health programs for the poor. I realized that being a nurse-lawyer will make me a better health care lobbyist. Okay I think I shared a little too much but my question really is if it is humanly possible to be working in the hospital while studying law. THANKS!
  18. I would like to ask for opinions about the masteral degree I am going to take. I am a Filipino RN who just got licensed in 2013 with no work experience yet. If I do get a hospital-based job, I am planning to eventually enroll in the University of the Philippines Open University and take Master of International Health. I am attracted to the program's multidisciplinary/broad take on addressing health problems of low to middle income nations. I am particulary inclined to knowing how international health N/GOs operate and eyeing to join one in the future. However, I would like to know the pros and cons of taking this degree vs. Master of Pubic Heath, Master of Arts in Nursing, or MSN. In addition, would you please share some insights on how to handle work and study at the same time. I believe your first year as a staff nurse is really challenging, so I'm not sure if I can handle the additional stress of studying at this stage.
  19. Hi guys. Congrats to those who got in! Any idea when is the next training scheduled? I am planning to apply just now and it seems you guys are already starting with your training very soon. Any chance they will open for the next batch this year? Thanks
  20. Hi. Any idea when is the next COPN scheduled? Does the training follow a regular schedule every year? Thank you so much!
  21. Hi. I just submitted my resume on August 6. Is there any chance I can be included in the upcoming batch of trainees? :| Has it already been filled out? Do you guys know when it is scheduled to start? Lastly, how often is COPN conducted, does it follow a regular schedule? Pleeease respond thank you ans good luck everyone!
