  1. @msshawnamarie I was accepted into the San Mateo campus! You might hear back a little later since you are in a different campus. Yeah they need to be complete but I'm not sure how I'll complete 4 classes in 2 months hmm (pathophysiology, pharmacology, english, and communications!)
  2. I was admitted too! I just wish it wasn't so late that they notified us. The thing is, I still have prerequisites to complete! Is it possible to even finish that by the end of April at this point? Also, does anybody know if we would need a car to get to clinicals? Sadly I do not have my driver's license
  3. Finally got my letter. Waitlist number 14. I'm glad I'm not completely rejected, but 14 might be a little too far off? Any body know how likely it is to get off the waitlist, especially at this position? I wonder how many were admitted off the wait list last year. I might just have to move on now since other schools are starting soon.
  4. Still no letter here. Maybe acceptances were mailed out first?
  5. Congrats to those who have gotten in already, though! To be done with that waiting game must be a relief
  6. I haven't gotten a call either, and it really has messed with my mind! haha, I assume though it really means I must have not gotten in Just preparing for the worst...
  7. Still haven't heard that my application has been accepted for review! Maybe I should email them? I'm getting anxious as well because I've been accepted into another nursing school (second choice, though) that starts in late January! I just hope they could tell us sooner, somehow
  8. @FunkySkunk did you get a call too? I'm so nervous, haven't heard anything! Perhaps means I'm rejected
  9. Yeah UW really is an amazing school!
  10. @spaceshuttleboy omg! what are you going to do?!
  11. @spaceshuttleboy That's a great choice, especially if you get to save some money!
  12. @spaceshuttleboy Still not sure yet! Waiting for UW still, although I paid the $500 deposit to NYU just in case. I also got into another nursing school in Pennsylvania that is less than half the cost but I gave up that spot since I much prefer New York. UW though is a different story since UW is one of the top nursing schools in the country! If I get into UW I think sadly I will give up my NYU spot. Perhaps one day I shall go to New York to do my masters but better to think realistically and not have so much debt right? I just wish I could have the NY experience without the price tag... Have you heard back from other schools and decided not to go to NYU?
  13. Thanks! Wow price isn't bad at all! I guess I'm comparing this to NYU where tuition is $90,000+ haha
  14. According to the blog at least, decisions will be mailed! Anybody know the cost of tuition?
  15. spaceshuttleboy, I'm still so unsure! Both are great programs. I like NYU because it would be a great experience in an exciting city! UW I am more familiar with being in the west coast. But I'm still unsure of NYU because of the super expensive cost! 90,000+ tuition will put me into much debt. Otherwise I think I'd love a new experience in NYU. So still unsure which one I will pick if I get into both hmm.. How about you? What are you leaning towards?
