Training course for Radiology Nurse or Cath Lab Nurse?
Thanks for the info, canned_bread!😄 No, I'm not yet a resident. I really am interested in working in a cath lab though. I was a bit worried when I read an article that mentioned having to undergo a course, but that article was dated 2010. Thank you for clarifying! What a relief! I do have a few questions, but unfortunately I can't send a private message. Is it ok if you private message me your email?

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi! Yes, you need to have a police check through the AFP, and complete all other requirements (immunizations, etc) before submitting an application to ACN.

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi Ba5ty! Did you have to go to the embassy (despite applying online) to get some referral for the medical exam for the visa? Was there a specific clinic/hospital to get the exams? To which clinic did you go to in Cebu, and do you really need to set an appointment? Sorry for all these questions. I just want to prepare everything so that I'd know what to do next once I get an offer letter.:)

I heard ACN is a bit pricey(?). Is it true that I have to pay a certain amount just for the initial application at ACN?

Unfortunately, I don't think I could catch up with my paperworks/requirements in time for the March intake. I do hope we'd all have smooth processing of our BPs!

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi aui24k! I'm planning to go for the May11 intake at IHNA. Here's what they emailed me regarding clinical placements: Some of the current clinical placement venues include; • Healthscope Hospitals in Victoria / WA • St. John of God Hospital • Murrumbidgee Local Health District Hospital • Hunter New England Local Health District Hospital • Northern Sydney Local Health District Hospital • Swan Kalamunda Health Service • Sale- Central Gippsland Health Services • Portland District Health jmolina1985, I'm quite confused with the initial enrollment process. I only have to sign the offer acceptance form and pay the initial fee right? One of the attachments in the email says I have to complete the immunization requirements before sending me a CoA, but I still have some pending immunizations to comply.

Thank you jmolina1985! So does that mean we don't have to write an appeal and just proceed with finding a school for the bridging program? Do I still need to get a new set of documents for the criteria 2,3,6&8 when I reapply for registration? (I don't understand why I was asked for the criteria 6&8 when at first, I was only asked for the documents for criteria 2&3.) Or would taking the bridging course cover that area already?
