Marymount Accelerated BSN 2015
I will! I want to communicate with everyone since the other ABSN cohorts are private and no one seems to talk on the general Marymount nursing page. You can search it as well, Marymount Accelerated BSN Fall 2015.

I applied last year and deferred my acceptance until the Fall 2015 because they notified me literally 5 weeks before classes started. >_

Marymount ABSN Spring 2015
Hiiiiiii! I just received my admissions letter to Marymount, although I am very excited I am also very nervous because the first day of class is January 12th. Yikes! Marymount is not my first choice, but the decision of my first choice should arrive mid feburary. >_ Has anyone else gotten in, or graduated from Marymount?? any tips, experiences, advice?? I'd be moving from Texas so housing recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!

Marymount University 2014 Nursing
Hello everyone, I actually just got my acceptance letter today. I also did not have a stellar gpa. I graduated undergrad with a 2.3 gpa for a biology degree. BUT my nursing prereqs were As and Bs and i scored top 94% on my TEAS. I'm not sure if I will go to Marymount, school starts on January 12th and thats basically no notice for me to pack my things and move to VA. lol. Don't know if this will help anyone, but I hope it does! I was discouraged for a long time because of my gpa, but there are some schools that will ive you a chance! Good luck with everything ladies.

thanks to all of ya'll for your feedback! I don't want to come to terms with my reality, but I will still continue to pursue nursing until the acceptance/denial letters come in. LOL

honestly, is nursing school plausible with a 2.2 gpa?
I'm a recent graduate, I graduated with a BS in biology degree from a "tier 1" university, but my gpa is barely past a 2.0, (I played/made a lot of mistakes my first 2 years of college) but I really want to go to nursing school. My nursing prereqs are above 3.5, and I have not taken the HESI and the TEAS yet, but with a lot of studying, and the help of the advice in the testing forum, I plan to score very high on them. I believe I am capable... But honestly, I'd like to know from people who are going through the admissions process how likely is it that I could get accepted into a 2nd degree/accelerated program?
