CPNE meltdown
Hi Guys, Thank you for all the responses, you are all very encouraging. I am going to dive back in and use all of your suggestions. I think I will start by seperating the study guide into different binders so that it is not quite as overwhelming. :) I do not yet have a date, EC is supposed to contact me sometime in January to set one up. Hopefully it will be a few months from now. :) I will also be ordering the skills bag from EC, I just didn't know when the right moment to do so was. I am thinking now is good. :wink2: Thanks again! I will keep you posted!

CPNE meltdown
Hi Everyone. I was wondering if anyone was having the same problem I am with studying for the CPNE. I am very overwhemled with the amount of information, there are so many resources to study from, I am bouncing all over the place trying to get a little bit of everything and I am not remembering anything at all. I do not work in a hospital so I am not familiar with some of the skills needed as home health does not require alot of equipment usually. I need some kind of organizational tool that can put me on the right path, but I have no idea where to begin. Can anyone give me advice on how to study appropriately for this exam? I am so stressed and I really dont think I can pass this anymore. Thanks in advance. Leigh

omg, CPNE
Hi everybody! First congrats to those of you who recently passed the CPNE. Yeaaah! I am an avid forum reader, but not so much on the posting. :-) I am starting to get pretty nervous about the CPNE. I only have one test left and then its my turn to walk the plank!! I went straight to pedi dr office and then to home health from nursing school so my hospital experience is really lacking and I am afraid I wont remember everything in sequence and I dont remember much about Iv's from school. Can someone who feels so limited in skills pass this thing? Thanks!

1 Down, 5 more to go!
Hey everybody! I passed NC1 this am! I feel so close to the end I can taste it! I have # 7 scheduled for the 14th so no time for breaks! I have been procrastinating for the last year and only taking 2 or 3 classes and now I can't stop myself from taking tests. Funny how that works. Whoo Hoooo!

Has anyone puchased the wound or IV Push on Ebay?
Hey guys, sorry I am late for the topic! This might seem a silly ? but are these requirements or just extras to study with? I have not read anywhere about needing to purchase wound trays. Maybe I am just not far enough along yet? Thanks!!

Study Guides for EC A & P exam???
Thanks Lunah! For micro I read the TCN mod., then read the Cliffs notes ( which is really wordy but very informative). I also bought the Sparksnotes chart which made it easy to memorize the major info on morphology and structure. The test itself was alot easier then I though it would be but it never hurts to "over study". Good luck!!!
