  1. Today I took Kaplan's NCLEX readiness exam and got a 68%... I take the test in 6 days! Hopefully that means I'm ready!
  2. Rico713: That makes me feel so much better! Kaplan has honestly been psyching me out but I did so so well on ATI. I experienced the same feelings before the ATI's as well because if we failed them, we would be kicked out of the program! Like I said, I passed with all level 3's aside from Maternal/Newborn... I've been doing tons of questions each day so hopefully I am as lucky as you! Any other tips?
  3. Just finished my QT 7 and got a 59%. That's super close to the 60% that Kaplan wants so I feel okay with that... I still have 9 days to study so hopefully it works out in my favor!
  4. Thank you for the advice! I'll let you know what I get on QT 7 once I finish it. For some reason I am just not confident... but that's how everyone feels I guess!
  5. I am taking my NCLEX June 18th. Graduated May 7th. Used ATI all through nursing school and got level 3's on all tests aside from Maternity/Newborn. My GPA was a 3.9 but I studied a great deal during school. I took Kaplan's course the week after I graduated and have been studying daily since May 30th using Kaplan & LaCharity. Absolutely terrified I am going to fail My Kaplan scores: Diagnostic: 68 QTrainer 1: 59 Q Trainer 2: 63 Q Trainer 3: 51 Q Trainer 4: 59 Q Trainer 5: 58 Q Trainer 6: 60 still working on trainer 7
  6. Thank you so much for posting this! I recently got accepted into a fast track nursing program and they are doing a background check. I've been panicking because when I was 17 I was an idiot and was pressured into stealing a bottle of liquor from a grocery store. Needless to say, it was the worst mistake of my life. I ended up pleading guilty to an MIP and a petty theft charge and I took two diversion classes. I had recently lost my mother and was in a terrible state of mind, obviously all of that is in my past. Hopefully I have the same luck as you!
  7. When I was 17 years old, I was pressured by a bad group of friends to shoplift a bottle of alcohol from a local grocery store. I was charged with petty theft and a minor in possession. I pled guilty and took two diversion courses. I have never done anything else like that in my life and I completely learned my lesson-- I was going through a rough month, my mother had recently passed away. It's been almost 4 years. Would these charges affect my eligibility to get a nursing license? I recently got into a fast track nursing school and I don't know whether or not to include these misdemeanor charges when asked if I have been convicted since I got them as a minor. I've been told that my record would be sealed at 18 and erased when I turned 21, but I don't know if I still need to report them. And when I do apply to get my license, I don't know if I would need to report these charges and if they would deter me from becoming a nurse. Does anyone have any advice? I'm from Missouri
