  1. I was accepted into the program in 2012. My GPA was about 3.5 or 3.6. Graduated from U of M, went to med school for 2 years before leaving, then took courses at WSU just prior to being accepted. I had tons of volunteering in the past and that was pretty much it. My interview was short and nice. They only asked if I prepared for the interview, do I have a way to travel to clinical sites, and why I wanted to become a nurse. I graduated in May this year. Took the NCLEX in July and now am about to start a job. :)
  2. I went to WSU as CD2 student. Just graduated in May and just passed my NCLEX. I have a friend at OU nursing. I had a 3.7 GPA and did exactly take all my prereqs at Wayne, but I did take some courses there. During my rotation at DMC, one facility member (a manager of the unit), said that when it comes to hiring new grads for positions she first picks out all the WSU grads and chooses from them first. I'm sure this is not true for all DMC units, but this particular manager likes to hire WSU grads. WSU gives a good education. They also changed the rules about HESI. Some nursing schools just require you to take HESI in order to graduate and WSU used to make it mandatory that you must hit 950+ to graduate. This means that now you must still pass HESI with 950, but if you fail you won't be kicked out. If I had known about the HESI and getting kicked out part, I would have chosen a different school. But since they won't kick you out for failing that course, I say WSU is a great program to go to.
  3. Took my NCLEX on 7/16, did the trick and got the good pop up. 7/18 quick results says I passed!
  4. You can create as many Qbank tests per day. I created multiple ones daily because I prefer smaller question groups compared to doing 75q straight through. I know that once you get any question right then you can't use that in creating another test. But, you can always review the tests you created afterwards. I believe that's sort of a flaw with the Kaplan Qbank. I would've like to reuse the questions again once I completed the entire Qbank.
  5. Hm, not sure how it is in Virginia, but I just took the exam 7/16 and my quick results weren't available until almost 48h later. I also got the "good pop up" every time I checked. I still get the "good pop up" even after getting my quick results that said, "PASS". I'm sure you passed! I haven't read of anyone getting the "good pop up" and failing.
