  1. Congratulations! Gotta ask ya.. What State did you take nclex for? I am CDN and going for nclex in few months. @ present, I am on provisional license and working on medical unit.
  2. Yes, I am sure she would be able to work in ON. She has passed the Nclex so there is no need to resit for another exam. Let her know about this good news and good luck!
  3. You've probably gotten ur ans by now but if you are still looking for the current info then the ans is "Yes", its true! I am BC grad nurse and going to take nclex USA instead of CRNE. I did talk to the Examination Administrator person of CRNBC before applying for BON and found out that the USA nurses(Nclex Passer) will be eligible to work in Canada without writing any exam. Same rule applies to Canadian nurses who wants to work in USA. You need to do your paper documents formalities such as proof of your current licence or State nursing licence for a reciprocity. As Every State is different and they may have different application requirements but definitely no need to take nclex for sure. It is going to change in Jan 2015 and also heard form one of the BC nursing faculty member who teaches CRNE prep course in ON that ON will be accepting nclex passer in Sept before Oct crne and other provinces of Canada will be starting in next year January 2015. Good Luck!
  4. Thanks for sharing this and congratulations!! I'm going to write nclex in Nov. I am Canadian new grad (graduated in April 2014) and wrote CRNE in june and failed:( I don't want to rewrite in Oct (the last CRNE) so I've decided to write nclex. So far I have Saunders ed 6, Kaplan's content review guide(the blue book) & nclex rn premier. I have downloaded couple of apps to practice questions on my break. I have been studying from ncsbn learning extension that I bought for 8 weeks. I am reading the content first and will do practice questions later. I am not familiar with ANA "code of ethics" or "standard of practice". Do you think nclex can put these kinda questions? I've heard and read that nclex is more of theory based (med surg) exam whereas CRNE is totally opposite. @ last, is there anything else that you think I should buy (prep book or course) that would help me to pass nclex? Thanks!
  5. Hi ma305, Just curious to know if you have passed the June CRNE. I failed June and now planning to write Minnesota nclex in Nov. I've also registered for Oct CRNE too but at the same, I'm double minded to withdraw the registration. I know they won't refund:( I think, I am scared from CRNE exam now. I need to ask you when did you write the USA nclex?? What did you do differently to pass CRNE this time??
  6. HI cupquake & hopefullapass, I'm in same boat as I failed June crne and now going to write nclex..hopefully in first week of Nov. I just got authorized email with validity period from aug to 12 Nov. I am very confused and having hard time to decide whether rewrite crne or not. I am taking the minnesota board exam. How about you guys?? What state did you guys apply to?? Please reply thank you!
