  1. I am a pretty disciplined person who studies ALOT. But there are times when my mind just drifts in and out and I don't get anything accomplished--that is when study groups can be helpful. At the start of the semester I joined a study group which I quickly broke away from. 2 1/2 of the 3 hours together were spent discussing everything that had nothing to do with nursing. Towards final time I joined a different study group. These girls had it together!! I went 2x and it really helped. We all had our own index cards and questioned each other. We also all brought little finger foods to help break it up a bit. We all aced our finals!! Stacey
  2. I am in a 2yr. nursing program. Along with those courses I am taking the 4 remaining classes I need to roll over to the BSN program after graduation. With having children at home and the need to go out and earn a 'real' living, getting my BSN online would be ideal instead of on campus. I am interested in hearing the pros and cons from anyone who has earned thier BSN online. Or anyone who knows anything about this. I am getting alot of clinical experience through the program I am currently in. The NCLEX test I will take is the same one the BSN graduates take. Approx. half of the classes I have to take for the BSN degree are available online now. So would it be a bad thing to take the rest of them online as well? I just really don't know what I will be getting into. Thanks Stacey
