  1. I thought armour thyroid was old school medicine. I was hyperthyroid and then had radioactive iodine. I am now on 200 mcg of synthroid, I get labs about once a year now and have been stable on just that for about 10 years now. I have been told by several doctors that they like synthroid (not generic forms) the best because it seems to keep the blood levels stable. I am not sure about cytomel though I have never taken that or been recommended that medication.
  2. I think you need to take the opportunity while it's there.I also have been an LPN for 10 years and have had many options the job I'm at, but I would never be able to have tose opportunities some where else nor will I be able to make as much money if I donn't expand my career.I wish I would have done it 10 years ago when I was still fresh. Good luck in whatever you decide.
  3. They used to have a site in Arizona but not anymore.
  4. Thanks for that info they did not tell me that. Does anyone know all the sites or a few of them closest to Arizona
  5. I was just accepted into the EC program. I live in Arizona and will probably go to San Diego for the CPNE. I have 10 years psych experience but no med/surg experience. I will probably try to get a job at County on Med/Surg for experience. Has anyone went to San Diegeo for CPNE? Any words of advice? Is it as scary as I've heard? I will definately do the workshop.
