  1. I know how you feel, I too have an issue with starting IV's. When I was in the hospital I had nurses that were unable to find my veins and I was traumatized, now I am woried about missing on my patients! My instructors keep telling me that with practice I will be fine. I have never felt the pop either, but I usually get a flashback, but I have a hard time threading the catheter without blowing the vein, any help with this?
  2. I heard that University of Phoenix online degrees were similar to "cracker box" degrees and that nobody respected nurses who had them...
  3. Our instructor has always told us to put in at least 50 less than is in the bag so that it beeps before it runs air into the patient. Good luck!
  4. I don't know about the job market per say but the community is great. I am also considering a move there. I have had family in Prescott forever and they just love it! Good luck!
