I applied and did the HireVue at exactly the same time as you! I'm from out of state. It still says under review for me on the website.

Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Application Summer 2021
Does anyone know the hourly pay and if there's a sign on bonus for MH? I'm applying out of state, most of the hospitals where I am give a sign on bonus if they have a two year contract.

Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Application Summer 2021
How many questions were there again? I barely finished in time LOL. I have taken a few behavioral assessments so far but none of them had a general reasoning section like that!

Medstar Washington Hospital Center Nurse Residency 2021
I received an email from Georgetown about preferences! I'm not from DC, and looking at rent I'm wondering if it's even worth it to be a nurse there due to how high rent is. Does anyone know if it's even possible to "make it" on our salary or if we'll be able to afford a 1 bedroom apartment near these hospitals?

Does anyone know if Harris Health has a two year commitment contract or any sort of contract? Also, any update on if Texas Children's will be hiring this cycle?

SLU vs UTampa vs UPortland?
Hi everyone. I've been accepted into Saint Louis University, the University of Tampa, and the University of Portland. Portland and Tampa are both direct admit, and I've been accepted into the program. Does anyone have any information that would help me decide which of these schools I should end up going to? Anything helps :)

How do you feel about being a nurse?
Simply, do you enjoy being a nurse? Does it make you happy? Or do you regret it? Do you have any very specific regrets related to being a nurse?

How much money to expect as a new grad RN?
Can anyone tell me how much money is normal for a new grad RN? I know it will vary by location and institution, but can someone give me a rough estimate of a salary after taxes?

"You're too smart to be a nurse. Be a doctor"
Every time someone asks me what I want to do with my life and I say nursing, this is what they say, even my parents! I'm sure it's something every nurse has experienced. When people ask you this question, how do you reply? Do you have a good sassy comeback?

How is University of Tampa's BSN Program?
Thank you. Does it seem like UT's program is as good as any other program?

How is University of Tampa's BSN Program?
Hi everyone! I'm currently getting serious about college (I'm a junior in high school) and am starting to realistically look at what I can afford. It looks like I might end up going to University of Tampa due to the cost (scholarships), location, and size, but I'm not sure how great the nursing program is. From what I've seen, it doesn't appear to me that there is actual patient interaction in the program but that it is all lab simulation. Can anyone attest to this? If you are a student in the BSN program, I would appreciate it if you would tell me about it :)

Could I get a job as a CNA in high school?
I'm old enough and have everything I need to take a CNA class, BUT I'm a junior in high school. If I got my certification, would anyone even hire me being that I'm a student? Would I be able to do it as a job just over the summer or something?

BSN programs that will "give you a leg up" in the nursing field?
Hi all. I've been looking up various nursing schools and their rankings to see which would be considered "prestigious" or a program that would give me an advantage when looking for a job. I'm just wondering, are there certain traditional colleges that would look better on a resume than others? For top ranked colleges that I've looked at, such as U of Washington or NYU, I've read posts here that say employers don't pay much attention to the supposed better quality of these programs when compared to others. So my question is, are there certain nursing schools where I can get my BSN that would make employers value my application more considering the job market is rough, or do they consider most BSN degrees to be the same value? If so, could you give an example? I hope my question makes sense.

Are there certain states where it's easier to find a job if as a new RN?
Hi everyone, I'm currently in high school and hope to become a nurse in the future by getting my BSN. I was just wondering if there are certain states/regions where it's easier to find a job as a new grad than other places, and if so, what are they? I'm sorry if this isn't true at all, I know I clearly don't know as much as you guys, I'm just looking for some guidance. I'm just thinking about colleges that I might want to attend, and I was wondering if this was a factor to consider. Thanks!

What's the difference between an OB/GYN nurse and a CNM/what's it like?
Ok I just wanted to know because its just so cool that you can see a little life inside of someone like thats so amazing to me so I mean yeah I just wanted to know y'all are being kind of harsh on me:o but whatever.

What's the difference between an OB/GYN nurse and a CNM/what's it like?
I don't know why you're all so focused on the fact that I asked an additional question about the gel... it's not like I'm so fixated on it that I'm picking a career based on that one thing... I just think it seems fun to do.

What's the difference between an OB/GYN nurse and a CNM/what's it like?
I know nurses get bossed around a lot and everything, I tried to make it sound like I knew that by saying "as much" but yeah. My aunt is a neonatal nurse and she says its an area where the doctors trust your judgment and you get more independence, so that's why I was asking.

What's the difference between an OB/GYN nurse and a CNM/what's it like?
I'm a sophomore in high school and I know I want to go into the health care field. Pregnant people just make me so happy that I feel like I'm going to go on to being a CNM or an OB/GYN nurse, but what's the difference? I'm not really interested in the GYN part when it isn't dealing with pregnancy though. And what's it like? Are there reasonable hours, and which field is more independent, like doctors kind of let you do your own thing, because I don't really like being bossed around as much. And I'm really dying to know, do nurses get to put on the gel for the ultrasound? Thank you!

How do I become an RN by going into nursing right after high school?
Hi everyone, I'm currently a high school student. I know that nursing is my calling and I really want to become an RN and later on maybe a CNM or a neonatal nurse. I want to enter a BSN program after high school in order to become an RN. However, I'm confused about the prereqs. Do I complete the prerequisites before applying to the program? And is it like two years for the prereqs and then another two years to receive my BSN? Or is it like two years for prereqs and 4 years after that to receive the BSN? Just when do I apply to the program?
