MUSC Grad Programs 2019
Hello everyone! I applied for the BSN-DNP AGPCNP program and I have yet to receive an email or letter in the mail......I am assuming I did not get in at this point! Is anyone still waiting to hear back? I had emailed Fred regarding my status but he is currently out of the office.

Any online NP schools fInd preceptors for you?
So I found out that Loyola University at Chicago does offer a blended AGPCNP program and also they provide you with preceptors! I spoke to an academic advisor over there and heard a lot of great things about the program. The program is mostly online with only three classes that would meet once a week in the evening, which I am totally fine with. I am very excited to start the application process for Fall 2018 once it is available online.

Any online NP schools fInd preceptors for you?
Thanks for the reply. I honestly thought it was more normal for brick and mortar schools to provide preceptors! It is just frustrating because I have been researching a lot and it seems like almost every school is asking us to find own preceptors

Any online NP schools fInd preceptors for you?
Hello all! I want to go back to school to pursue a NP degree, preferably as an AGPCNP but will also consider FNP. My issue is finding a program where they will provide preceptors for you. I don't mind if the tuition is more expensive as long as they can provide the preceptor sites. I am in Illinois so I am also looking for blended classes in Illinois as well. I am looking to start next year in the fall. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

submitted 2 weeks notice and then let go???
Hello all! Yesterday I submitted my 2 weeks notice to my manager at the beginning of my shift. I typed up a letter for her and gave to her and explained that the unit was not for me. I just got off orientation and had worked for about a week. I already felt iffy at the end of orientation but wanted to give it a chance. I hate it! I switched from a tele unit to this med surg unit and it is just too busy! Anyways I gave her my 2 weeks notice and said ok. Maybe 15 minutes later she said I could clock out and that I didnt have to complete the 2 weeks. I was happy because I could devote more time to my 2 other agency jobs but now that I think about it, did i just get fired??? Am I now ineligible for rehire? I dont want to work on that unit but the hospital is apart of a bigger system comprised of 6 other hospitals and i dont want my chances ruined with those hospitals. I sent a follow up email documenting what happened our conversation to her. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!

Taking NCLEX at 2PM Today (July 1st)
Hello all, I have been religiously stalking this website for the past month while preparing for the NCLEX. This will be my first time taking it and it would be an understatement to say that I am nervous. My palms are seriously sweating as I type this!! I have been trying to tell myself that I can do this but there is a part of me that questions myself. What if I get question that are totally out of the ball park? What if I think im doing well and the computer shuts off at 75 and in reality i just bombed it??? Some of my classmates have already passed it and I feel like I might be that one person that doesn't. I trying to stay positive! I scared to do the trick to see if i passed or not......I will be crushed if I don't pass! I have tried so many times to try and reschedule because I have been doubting myself. I have been using Lippincott Q and A review for the most part and I have not been getting the scores I would like which makes me nervous....Really I just wanted to vent how am feeling before I take this exam. I'm just so nervous because my dreams are in reach and I just don't want to mess up, disappoint my friends and family and myself! Thanks for listening :)!!!!
