I had an interview yesterday and I got the job yeah, but was also asked tell me about your self. It is very common. the best way to answer this is to provide a background of yourself that speaks to who you are do you volunteer, is there a trend in previous jobs of dealing with people, and this may kinda play into why did you choose to go into being a CNA. so be prepared on how to answer that. for example, I like serving people and I have held jobs like that in the past where I worked with customers during difficult moments. With the above be prepared to provide an example of what type of difficult moments and how it resulted. Why should we pick you is another way of highlighting your strengths. I am very proactive and value the work being done. You will do great, what kind of facility is it?

My second time posting and wanted to add to this thread: Had an interview today and some of the questions I can remember are: Tell me about yourself. What are your strengths? Tell me a time you saw shortcuts and how did you handle it. Tell me a time of how you dealt with a frustrated patient. How are you in a team? Whats the normal blood pressure range? Whats the normal temperature range? What are signs you should look out for in a patient? Do you know how to read a patients chart? They asked when could I start. The interview was for a short term acute care lots of turnover of patients. I got the position, its my first one since I got my CNA certificate so kinda nervous.
