Here we go again, I failed the nclex rn the 3rd time which was again very heartbreaking!! It's not that I didn't study...I gave my 100. I just don't know what to do anymore..can't evaluate myself where i been wrong!! Well I been out of nursing school from the past 3 years. And I am a International Graduate. The material that I used to study for the test was; Saunders , La charity, Uworld , and Nclex Mastery. After these 3 attempts I have decided to change my book Because Saunders didn't work for me...Not only my CONTENT is weak But also my Critical Thinking which i need to work on ALOT. So I recently purchased Marry Ann hogan Comprehensive Review for nclex rn. Has anyone read this book ? Please leave ur suggestions about this book or any other nclex rn material that i should look in to. Thank you!

yeah im gonna try reading a different book too. But im gonna read saunders thoroughly once and then try another book. Hows the kaplan book? i will look into the uworld and Ncbsn program..heard alot about it. can u tell more about ncbsn program and when should i take ?

hey guys i wanna share my nclex story with u all. I am planning to take the Rn Nclex exam around May or June 2016 for the 3rd time. I really need ur suggestions for passing the exam. I did nursing from India in 2013 and i find this test quit challenging. Okay so the first time i took this exam was in july 2014 and I did NOT pass the exam... maybe because i was overconfident or wasn't serious enough. I read Saunders and did alot of practice questions But somewhere I knew my theory was weak due to my carelessness and was not focused. i was quite depressed and was giving up on it already. I didn't wanna study right away so i took a reallllllly long break which wasn't good. I should've taken a short break and started studying again. But i didn't till November 2014 and Took the Nclex for the 2nd time in Feb 2015. And I didn't PASS the test. I read Saunders Again ( read it better than before) took the HURST review course online , and did a lot of practice questions online eg; Saunders cd questions, lipponcott questions, and free online questions. I truly give up . I didn't wanna think about the test at all . I haven't touched the nclex book for a year ...I know its a pretty long break which is NOT good But I started to give up on it . My family started to encourage me again to take the test. So i decided to take it in summer around May or June 2016. I started reading Saunders briefly from last month ( January) I am trying to stay FOCUS because I get distracted very easily! How I planned my schedule so far... I get up at 5 am study for 3 hrs then take a break for 10 to 20 mins start studying again ...so pretty much 9 hrs total broken down to 3. And i am really focusing on my content which is my weakest point. I have hard time focusing specially when it comes to reading books!!! Those of you who have taken the NCLEX RN exam plz leave ur suggestions...i would really appreciate the help :)))

yeah i took it today and did a test of 75 questions and scored 41 percent i only did one topic thats safe and effective care. how do i do these questions? like an in tests or all together with a rationales??

i cant extend my date my evaluation took forever and i took the date a month after receiving my letter from board. i wanna pass it on my first attempt and i know i will pass this ...fingers crossed and ill look up for the content u told me.

hey there im taking mine on the 15th too . i didnt use NCSBN i used saunders for content and doing kaplan qbank right now. i did saunders cd questions,lipponcott questions,and now doing kaplan. start practice SATA from lacharity and kaplan those are my downfall but stay positive u can ache the exam believe in urself and god . damn we both have 12 days left till the exam ...sometimes i feel like im not ready ..that i have a few days lef but then i start thinking about the good side of it i will have work hard and study like i never studied before for 12 days then i will be an RN . Start thinking positive when u have negative thoughts in ur head. I hope this helped :) and where are u taking ur exam?? im taking mine in milipitas california.

hey i am taking mine on july 15th im hella nervous too im doing kaplan qbank right and random practice questions online. SATA are my downfall too!! but if u have lacharity practice those from there and kaplan has SATA also. GOOD LUCK believe in urself and have faith in god ... thank god before waking up n going to bed that u have passed ur exam !!! :) positive attraction works believe me . u can do it be positive :)

@jrost80RNBSN okay will but the program is for 3 months and i have ONLY 12 days left till the exam ?? but im gonna take the kaplan qbank anyways i'll do 250 to 300 questions a day hopefully that'll work!! @Ladyfree28 thanks for the help and yes i have lacharity book . i have done a few questions and will try to do more specially SATA. are there any site where they have SATA questions besides kaplan ?? how do i improve my critical thinking? i suck at eliminating anwsers
