  1. Hi all! Anyone starting acnp program at Walden in March?
  2. Thanks. I believe I made a good choice too and I am glad to hear you are having a good experience. I looked into a few big name schools before but the cost is ridiculous and couldn't see myself paying that much more for the name. I know a nurse who graduated from University of phoenix online and had a great job offer before even she graduated. Good luck and keep me posted how things are.
  3. Hi! I recently applied to Walden for acnp program. Application process was simple and easy. At first I was bit concerned about applying because of negative comments, but I truly believe it depends on how much work an individual puts into it. Of course, everyone's experience would be different and I am willing to make a positive one. Thanks

  5. Hi Mark! I am thinking about applying to Walden and was wondering if you believe that the program prepared you well to serve as FNP. I'd really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
  6. Hi I was just wondering if anyone had difficulty finding preceptors. Do you need to do all the paperwork associated with clinical sites as well?
  7. Sing HU! It may calm your mind
  8. Hi Cammack! I was just wondering how your experience at Simmons is like? I applied recently and wanted to make sure if they really do set up clinical sites and preceptors for students. I have applied to local university as well. Hope your experience is great and plz send me a link when you get a chance. Thanks
  9. Hi Mal! Got one more question in regards to Walden. How is online classes look like? Do they offer recorded lectures, videos, and etc? Do courses require a lot of writing? Thanks ?
  10. Hi Mal! I am considering Walden for fnp program. Does the program require students to visit campus for validation check prior to clinicals? Thanks
  11. I have been doing acute dialysis for 10 years and I am so tired of ling hours and oncall duties. I am at the point of being depressed. I drag myself in the morning knowing that I will probably be stuck working at the facility for 16 plus hours. I wish I can just quit but I need to work. I think I am just tired of nursing period. What else can I do?
  12. I think it's a great school. Unfortunately I have to choose online np program because I have to work. If money is not an option I will choose dual program at u c davis.
  13. I think so too, but PA route would be tough one because I won't be able to work.
  14. Thanks for your response. No I have bsn and deciding whether to go to np school or pa. It seems like pa program is much harder to get into.
