How did you stay organized in LPN school?
I'm so happy for you!!!! You will be so happy you did this! I always carry pens, a highlighter and a fine point sharpie in addition to my equipment. I got drug cards and a pocket lpn guide. Those helped tons!!!!!!! I'm happy to help you so don't hesitate to ask if you need any help!!!

How did you stay organized in LPN school?
Congrats on the decision to start the program! I just finished school and passed nclex the end of October. Here are some tips, hope they help! Get a planner. Write due dates and weekly schedules down. I found this helped way more than putting things in my phone. Start by familiarizing yourself with medical terminology. If you can dissect a word it really helps. Ask questions. Don't be shy about this! Instructors want you to succeed and are there to help! Study using both sides of your brain. Write it down but also draw pictures, diagrams, charts.....whatever helps you remember. I had a different notebook for each subject which helped a ton! You can do this! I am 39, have 2 children and worked through my lpn program. I kept a 4.0 and every sacrifice was totally worth it! I have a job I love and couldn't be happier! Best of luck!!!!!

Question...Just took NCLEX...
I tested yesterday & checked my board of nursing and saw my license number so I knew I passed. It is my understanding that it takes extra time if you had problems with the hand scan. I know several people that had this problem. I hope you get it resolved quickly! Waiting is agony!

NCLEX PN PASSED
Thank you! I had mostly select all that apply questions. It was nothing like I expected. I needed to know the information and how to apply it to the question. I answered most by process of elimination. Good luck to you!!!!!!!

NCLEX PN PASSED
Hello. I took my NCLEX PN yesterday and just found out I passed. I didn't spend money on a review. I started studying using the basics. I reviewed basic medical terminology and then moved on to nutrition and pharm. I did about 200 practice questions a day. I had tons of SATA questions. Several were prioritizing & delegating. Hope someone finds this info helpful! Good luck!

CNA Course
Good for you! Nursing school is very demanding so a longer program will also give you a sneak peek into what it's like. I'm sure you'll do great!!!!!!

CNA Course
Do you have a medical background at all? I am currently a PCT at a hospital and just finished up my PN program. I wouldn't recommend less than a two week course. You learn the basics and you learn so much on the job! Working in a hospital during nursing school was a tremendous help! Best of luck to you!!! ( :
