Hello, I am a NICU PICC nurse and we are currently reorganizing our team and the team duties. I am curious if other teams do a daily assessment of PICCs by the PICC team nurse. I have shared the INS and NANN guidelines stating daily assessment by a designated team member but am having some trouble proving the importance of this task. Is this a common practice by the PICC team or VAT? And I am referring to a documented assessment in the EMR. Thanks in Advance!!!

How long before you heard if you passed after you took the exam?

I was worried about that too. I work in the NICU and have no exposure to them at all. I had a lot of questions on research. So don't forget to study that portion of the study guide. The rest was not bad. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi hmarie. Have you taken your exam yet? I took it on 6/3? I got my preliminary results but have not received my official score. The wait is killing me. What's your experience?
