  1. Hello, I'm from omaha and I'm also in Creighton's ABSN program. Do not feel like you're in danger because someone says it is in a "bad" part of town, it is located closer to the North side of Omaha, but things can happen anywhere. You will need a car or at least find someone in your class that you can carpool with, if you find someone to carpool with, they will ask you to let them know so that you guys will be in the same clinical rotation group. Some of the students live midtown, some downtown (near creighton), some out west and some south, so it just depends on where you are comfortable at, they send out emails with houses for rent if there are some available from previous grads. Good luck with everything!
  2. I was just accepted into this program for this Fall and I have spoken to about 5 RNs at my hospital that have nothing but great things to say! They said it was intense but well worth it, one of my CNA instructors went there as well and she said it was one of the best decisions she ever made. I'm going in with a positive attitude, everywhere has its ups and downs and we cannot base our experiences off of anyone elses. Good luck with the program to any that will be attending!
  3. my floor is SOTU and we generally have 9-10, but if we are short-staffed one side of techs will have 19! I am still orientating so I just help out where needed right now
