  1. Hi westcoastguy, were you able to land a job as an LVN? :)
  2. Hi everyone! Has anyone found a school that offers MS/OB deficiency? I called SFSU, UCSF - and they said I have to complete the entire program, called CCSF and said there's always no space available for MS, but they do have OB. However have to take them both. Called Dominican University, emailed them and availability will be 2017 onwards and on a long list.
  3. Hi shesanurse, got my results on the 6th, will be going to Sacramento tomorrow and will pay for the license.
  4. Yeah, i did the pvt once, which was 24 hours after my exam, i got a good pop up 😊😉
  5. Just an update, my friend who took her pn exam on May 5th got her passing results yesterday. 😊
  6. Hello, shesanurse! I took the test on May 8th. I'm still waiting for the results by mail, and hopes I get it this week. My friend took it on may 5th and haven't heard from the boards yet. Let us know when you get yours..
  7. Thank you for that infomation, steppybay! I didn't know there is a waitlist in LVN - RN programs, but good to know that there is. Hi Cherrybee, did you startyour LVN application yet?If you don't mind, where are you located? I live in the bay area.
  8. Did you check your cases if they're not concurrent with your lectures? Yeah, it's the best way for now - going through LVN route. Maybe after that we can work on going LVN to RN.
  9. Hi cherrybee, yeah i got a letter from ca bon requesting a copy of my clinical cases and academic calendar (both from my school). Did you apply for nclex rn too?
  10. Any update on currrent processing time?
  11. I was asked for those two too. I have completion cases back when I was doing my clinicals, so I'm pretty sure they'll ask me to take those subjects here. Anyway, I do not remember keeping a copy of my cases (had it forwarded to PRC before licensure exam). And a good friend of mine went to the school to request, unfortunately they didn't keep such copies. Please keep me updated on you application. Thank you.
  12. I requested TOR and RLE from the school. I will send in my application once i got them all thru the mail. Just trying to research on what to expect actually hahaha.... I'm currently using Saunders 6th.
  13. Hi Irene09! Any update on your application?
  14. Did they ask you to give academic calendar and clinical cases before denying you to take the test?
  15. Any response RovzIniego from the BON yet re:your application?
  16. Well said steppybay! Been reading your posts and helped me a lot on my research to my applications. I am not surprised about BON's response to my application coz it happened to some of the people i know too. Some of my friends can't provide the copy of the clinical duties they performed and decided to change her career And the my other friend have a copy of her clinical cases, dates and all, but is lacking instructor's signatures on all pages because she made a copy of it before she had the instructors signed them. It wasn't her fault, i mean nobody knows that she'll need it after some years of graduating. My husband is working here in Nocal so I'll take my chances in getting licensed here. Sure it'll take time before I meet their requirements but while I'm in the process of doing that I think I'll take the LVN route. Would you know how long they process LVN applications? Or average number of months from start of application to having an ATT?
  17. You're right!I sent in my application in person -June 23 and i got a response from them saying i need to get my school send them the following: 1. Complete record of clinical cases 2. Academic calendar which has to be from the school to the BRN.The thing is that the school doesn't have a copy of my clinical cases, it's only the academic calendar they can provide.
  18. Thanks for sharing @asteria! now i have ideas on which books to use on my review.I'm still in the process of my application but since i've got no work yet, better use it in practice questions. :) so thank you.
  19. Hi... can anyone give us update on what happened to your re application? were you able to take the deficiency subjects? thanks
  20. Hi, I'm in the process of sending my reapplication form to retake NCLEX RN. I took the first test on August 2012 and too bad,I failed. I was interested in taking the test again but at that time I was still in the Philippines and doesn't have a SSN yet. I just got here last month and recently got my SSN. So, my question is - how long does it take for BRN CA to respond to my reapplication. I've read about the concurrency issues and am fully aware I may not be found eligible. But ey, who knows right? So I'm hoping for your feedbacks Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, 'What's in it for me?' Brian Tracy
  21. Im in SF. Yup hit me an email [email protected]
  22. Hi RovzIniego, I'm also new here. I'm living in NoCal, i have the same issues. Well, back in 2009 i think when I was still in the Philippines I applied for NCLEX RN here in CA and luckily I was able to take in 2012 the exam but failed (well, i really didn't study because I had work and that time I wasn't interested in passing because i didn't know that I will be coming here this year. I should have studied if I knew. So right now Im kind of lost whether they'll consider my retake application because of the concurrency issues..You are a graduate of which year BTW?
