They did not issue anything besides the actual license. I am not sure why not.

It ended up taking 8 weeks for my endorsement from MI to OH, applied the end of may very bad timing haha. I checked the box for the temporary permit, but I got my license. I think maybe since they were so backed up they just processed the license. I found out by none stop checking the verification page, and my actual license came in a week after it posted on the site. I didn't have to do the fingerprint card, so I have no information regarding that. Best of luck!

Right. Because it didn't ask for anything. If they would ever pick up the phone or return emails that would be awesome.

No, But I went to school here in Ohio. I did verify my license from MI by the nursys. I thought you had to send something only if you couldn't use the nursys? I am contacting My nursing school to see if they can send something. I know that when you graduate they automatically send something to the OBN and you have to ask them to send it any where else, like I had to do to get my license in MI. So the OBN has one, just they may have voided it out with my exam application

Just today some of the boxes got filled in, but under Education Verification it says incomplete. I emailed again asking what they need and have been trying to call. under the application checklist is doesn't mention Education Verification and on the application it is only for foreign educated nurses and LPN IV therapy. Quite frustrated now. I submitted an application for exam back in february but ended up going to Michigan cuz of a boy (big mistake) they voided that application for me when I submitted this new endorsement application but under that they have Education Verification: received. They can't look at my file or whatever they have there and see that? Ugh just really fed up with the OBN right now.

No none. I thought the same thing! I keep sending emails asking if they received everything and not a word back. I sent in everything on 6/2/14 This is ridiculous

I'm in the same boat. I'm applying for endorsement in Ohio with a license in Michigan. I have been waiting over 6 weeks now and the site ever says is pending. I'm going nuts trying to call and email with no response. Did you have any luck yet?

Unfortunately I have not. After about 3 weeks OBN did eventually call me to clear up why I had submitted two applications. After I clarified the situation, the person I talked to told me they would void the first and start on the second. Ugh, start? it has now been five weeks since I sent in my endorsement application and the only difference that has occurred when I go to verify my license is that it says application abandoned for the exam and pending for the endorsement, I have sent more emails and left more voicemails every week trying to hear back but no luck. 5 weeks seems like forever to be unemployed and living with your parents I hope OBN gets their stuff together soon.

I applied for initial license back in february, all paperwork was in except my scores and the site says they are waiting for my scores. But since they weren't returning my emails or calls for 3 weeks now... I sent in all requirements for endorsement too including another background check, nursesys, and continuing education credits 2 weeks ago. I wasn't sure if they would need another background check so I just thought I would send everything I could possibly could from my end, not leaving anything out. Thank you for all your info! helps having a time frame in mind to try to stay sane now that I am living back home with my parents ha!

I moved to Michigan to be with my now ex boyfriend. All my family is in Ohio. Before moving, I kept going back and forth wondering whether to stay in Ohio or move with the boyfriend of two years who I was convinced he was the one. So I sent in an app and all fees for both Ohio and Michigan and at the last minute changed it to Michigan, obviously a mistake. Had just passed and gotten my license for Michigan when he broke up with me and now have to get endorsed for Ohio. I have been emailing and calling the OBN with no luck. I got frustrated and ended up just sending in my endorsement application because I figured it was best to just give them everything I could to speed up the process, but the website still lists me an examination applicant waiting on the test scores. I want to get a hold of OBN to see if there's a way to have my test scores just sent over... but no one has been answering my calls or emails for weeks. This waiting and unemployment is unbearable. Also, I checked for the temporary license, but that doesn't mean I will only get the temporary and not the renewable license right? so basically my questions are, is it possible to send scores again after already sending them else where, what exactly is the temporary license, and how long does this process usually take? Thanks!
