USA masters NP fall 2014
Do not under estimate the time it takes to do all this.. you will also have to request every transcript from every school you have ever attended from the certified back ground web site, re put in you entire resume by hand, scan and load a ton of documents in, type in by hand your ENTIRE transcript from ALL schools.. it is so much to do.. you should have more time I hope being fall semester is a pretty good but away, but it all has to be and complete.. I would make sure I was ready to hit the ground as soon as letter gets there, maybe go ahead and get a student copy of transcripts.. take a few days off of work. Certified will have to request official transcripts but you still have to type them in by hand

USA masters NP fall 2014
I was accepted to the summer program for adult geron ACNP, they were 3 weeks late on acceptance letter and had to bust my tail to get every thing done.. You will need TB 2 consecutive annual, if they are not between 11 and 12 months apart will not take it, you will have to have another Tdap, flu shot if you did not get it, you will have to have of your child hood shot records as well as hep b, all of this will have to be loaded in to certified background.com, they will send you the code you need for that web site, you will also need a physical, but all it says on the USA form is that you are capable of performing the duties, not much to it. thecertified background thing takes 2-3 hours to fill out

I thought I knew, but I had NO idea
I made an account just to reply to this. My little sister was going through the same thing before she graduated as I did. I am now going through it again getting my MSN. Just remember 1) ABC airway, breathing, circulation, do no harm to patient , and prevent pain as much as possible. 2) You will not know anything when start working as a nurse, you will learn the majority of what you need to know from other nurses not so much from school 3) if it were easy everyone would do it 4) the time will pass rather you are bettering your self or not, might as well try and better your self 5) Do not try and learn all the steps, think the steps through, I have been working in home health on and off for 11 years, I teach patients how to administer their own IV ABX in about 5-10 min , I do this by telling to stops thinking about the steps and think about the whole situation logically, i.e why would you flush with something that is supposed to keep the line open at any other time than completion. You will get there!! Good luck!
