It's going good so far, I can't complain. JU is all on campus no online classes offered. I am currently full time and it is very time consuming and tricky balancing work and school. Your first semester is either gonna break you or prove that you belong in a program like this. Your first semester FT you will be taking patho, pharm and assessment- 3 very difficult classes. Several of my classmates already dropped a couple classes. It takes dedication and sacrifice :)

3.93 overall GPA. Applied to several schools online and on campus. I got into jacksonville University this fall and will graduate 2016.

Got my letter today from USA for FNP MSN track. Was accepted but already accepted into another program!

JU only accepts 25 applicants and each year they get about 200 hopeful applicants for their FNP program. I don't think you need the GRE for JU unless your gpa is below a 3.0, however you will need it if you're planning to apply to other schools.

I agree with TammyG, it's very important to gain som experience first. Are you planning to work while in NP school? Experience is very important especially if you are planning on doing it online. At least 1 yr will give you some resource to draw from.

Just wanna give a quick update, haven't wrote on this blog in a while. I didn't get in to UF for this fall 2014- FNP. However I was accepted into jacksonville's University FNP program for this fall 2014! Good luck to all :))

Thank so much for this info! I called a while couple minutes ago and the lady told me, she has no way of knowing and most likely I won't hear back from them before the deadline!

Hey guys I applied for the Spring 2015, FNP track sent all my required documents in since last month and still have not received notice from USA as to if all documents were received ! Is this normally how it is with this school? Has anyone encountered the same problem? Really need some insight on this:)

One of my friend just texted me and told me her coworker got into UF, she got an email this morning! Don't know how true it is, but am trying to find out. Just woke up and saw her text. Has anybody gotten an email?

hi am looking into applying for Ball state MSN-FNP track for 2015 Spring. and will really like some feedback about the program and classes in general? I am aware that it is online and would like to know if the classes are self taught or do they include recorded lectures? Will really appreciate any feedback.

I am also waiting to hear from UF- FNP track.
