  1. Thank you all for your thoughts, and I have found a Spring ADN program at a college about 45min away from my home so I am praying that I can get into that program.. I didn't call the nursing school, I just said its all in God's hands now... thanks for listening
  2. I feel so pressured about this whole school thing!!! I found out yesterday that I was on the alternate list for a community college LPN program here; however, they will not inform me where I am on the list!!!! And I am trying to be a nurse soon.. Then the college I attend now does not have a spring (ADN) program so IF I'm accepted I can't start school (nursing) until NEXT fall... I get so mad with my nursing "friends" because they think it's funny I'm going through this, if I ask them something they've either "forgot" or will talk with me later! It's almost like they don't want me to be where they are!!! I don't know how to feel at this point *sigh... Say something anything please... Anyone? Also what do you think I should call and tell the community college Nursing program to get them to see I really want this, or do you not think its a so good idea to call them?.. They wont tell me where I am on the list and they only accepted 15 per year...
  3. I decided to go on with my University ADN program for 2015 and I am on a local college lpn waiting list for this fall as an Alternate but they cant let me know where I stand on the list!!! which I think is crazy! But the other program cost way too much the local colleges are like 15,000$ cheaper!
  4. Hi Tasha, Thanks for the response! Also were you able to use a calculator?
  5. Hello everyone, I was wondering, if anyone had any UPDATED information on the TABE test? Also I am trying to get into Delta College "LPN" program and the TABE test is required; I'm scheduled to take it this week please somebody anybody PLEASE give me advise... The scores needed are English and reading 12.0 and Math 11.9... Thanks
  6. Congrats I can't wait until it's my turn... And good luck!!!!!!!!!:)
  7. Here in Mississippi they do look at ACT scores.. Your GPA must be 2.5; but, I know people who skated through with 2.0 and got in because they scored high on the ACT over 21... It states on the application that your packet will NOT be reviewed until you have the required ACT score...
  8. The requirements are you have at least an 18 for admission into ADN 21 for BSN and 16 for LPN and the GPA they require is 2.5 or better; on the teas test you must score 57% or higher...
  9. Hello all!!! I new to all nurses; and, I am in my finally semester of pre-req.. The problem is my ACT scores... How did you guys prepare for it and how did you do on it? I'm really afraid to take it again. My last score was 16 and I'm afraid of being let down. The ACT score would be the only thing holding me back being that I have a great GPA (3.0) in my classes.. Please give me some insight! Thank you
