Would there not be any ADA resources for me to access?

I want to be a nurse. I have spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita. I am 4'8" and have pain in a lot of my joints. Mainly my ankles and knees. I also have fake hips, and 2 rods and 20 screws in my back. I loved driving a truck (18 wheeler), but I had to quit for many reasons. One being I have 3 kids at home. I had gotten my pre-requisites done for the LVN program prior to truck driving, but after a bad shift at the pizza place I was working at, I quit and got my CDL. I figured, I'd never be able to keep up physically or put that much stress on my body walking that much... I never thought about ADA and resources... I really think I want to go for my RN now... Does anyone know how I could do this successfully?

I haven't tried yet, they won't even let me enroll in the nursing program at my college until my declaratory order has been processed. They have limited space and don't want to waste a spot on someone who can't get their license in the end.

I've been contacting the board and I found out my case goes into the first (and hopefully only) stage of review tomorrow. They said they can make a decision anywhere between Friday and July 18th, but more than likely much closer to the 18th. I'm so nervous guys.

I think they do their search through the FBI. Maybe go to the FBI's website?

Did you have to go through the $150 evaluation? How long did it take to get approved? How many years elapsed between your charge and your D.O? (If you don't mind me asking.) Side-note... Is there a way to edit the original post? My 's' key didn't register when I was typing the word "sent" originally.

Is it really only 60-90 days?! Who said it changed? I'm sorry, I'm no help. I just submitted my prints on the 24th. I really hope mine doesn't take 4-6 months either. Each day I feel a little closer to a heart attack.

I recently ent in my Declaratory Order to the TBON and got fingerprinted. I'm SO terrified. I got a misdemeanor assault charge in early 2011 at 18 years old. I completed differed adjudication probation early. I paid all of my fees on time and did all of my community service. I had a clean record up to that point and since. Has anyone had a similar experience? Were you approved and how long did it take?
