To anyone who can anawer this.. - Passed the exam way back 2010. - License issued just this year(2014) because ive just got my SSN. Question: 1. Do i have to get 30hours of contuining education for my first time renewal? because in the letter that i receive about CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR LICENSE RENEWAL says " except for first time renewal by RNs who obtained their initial license by passing the national license exam within the PAST TWO years.., basically i dont passed the exam for past two years, i get a little confused here.. ? I know there lots of cases as mine here.. Thanks in advance..

Yes, the livescan method ive used.

I didn't contact them.. I was planning, because they say dont contact them 4-6 weeks after they cashout. Luckily bout 3weeks after they cash out, i see my name already in website.

Hi! To anyone who can answer this. I received already my pocket fronm BON more than a week ago, whats inside is the CERTIFICATE. My question is how many more days will i receive my LICENSE CARD? Thanks in advance..

Yes, i think its a sign that they are goin thru your papers already, lets just hope that there will be no problem.. Sooner you'll see your name in the site..

I submitted it july 11. They cashed out the money by August 12.

After mailing the application, they cashed out the money after a month, almost 3 weeks after i see my name in their website, last tuesday i received the pocket already.. So almost 2 months all in all..

Right now i am holding an NY license. I just send all documents posted here. And i really hoping and praying that they would grant me cause i dont wanna move to NY to work there. Right now they dont still get the money from the bank, its almost a month already, i know its to premature but I'm so nervous.

Thats good! I've been here also for almost 3 months. ☺ I graduated from Butuan Doctors College in Mindanao. I did not call them i just do what others do here, send all the necessary documents. Actually 2 of us here has kinda different situations coz we both endorsed ours to NY and we want to get a license here also. If you read previous messages you'll find Mishanbee, and she has a license now. So i am hoping and praying too that they will grant me. By the where are you in Us?

Hi Culver boy! I passed the nclex exam on 2010 just like you. I also submit a new application last month together with my SSN, Copy of Diploma, Fee, The Letter and Livescan just like what others did here. To my school i send the Request for Transcript, Breakdown of Educational Program For International Nursing Programs and Nursing Program Verification. And i believed that they also send it already. Right Now I am waiting for their response. Anyway, from what school are you? You just came here in the US? Good Luck to us! And Lets Keep on Praying!

Thanks for the reply evanchoy, Yes right now i have i license in NY.. We have the same case with Mishanibeee who previously posted on this thread.. For her case the evaluator told her to apply for license instead of endorsement.. So i have hope.. Im not leaving CA to NY for work, i'm gonna be with my family here.. I am just a week here so i am waiting for the SSN to start the application.. MyQuestion: 1. So i'm going to say "YES" on the form? 2. Do i need the "INTEREM PERMIT"? 3. How much is the live scan and where can i get a live scan here in CA? Thanks in advance.. God Bless

Glad to came across this topic. we have the same case, i took and passed the NCLEX exam last 2010 and endorse it to NY 2013 cause i dont have an SSN number, before i left philippines last may 16 u 2014 received my license in NY, right now i am here already in CA for a week and already waiting for my SSN. Can u help on the steps on how you did yours?Do i have i to call BON first or i just immediately apply? And how long did it took you to have your license? 1 more thing, what happen to your NY license? Thanks a lot in advance.
