  1. Hi Kisabelle, Really LOVED your mnemonic - have memorized it now. Thank you! Just so you know, the CDC says vacc are recommended at 11-12 years, not 7-14. Also, I made some adjustments for the mnenomic for 11-12 years (if you want to use it too), with a few capital letters to help distinguish them from earlier childhood vax's: Don'T HaVe MoNey. Don'T - the capital T here reminds me the vacc is changed to T-Dap (IDK what the diff is, but CDC says it is, so I remember it). Then HaVe - the capital V here reminds me this vacc is HPV. Then MoNey - the capital N here reminds me the vacc here is now meningococcal, (not MMR). I just thought I'd note this because it might help others to remember the schedule. Thanks again, so much!
  2. That's good advice! Thanks, I will do that.
  3. Thanks, well I hope you pass. Keep trying if you don't! It will be worth it.
  4. Oh, thanks! I knew the NCLEX was a computer adaptive exam - just didn't realize that is what you meant.
  5. Thanks! Glad you passed!!
  6. Hoping to sit it again in a few weeks also. I hope you pass! I've already decided to just keep re-sitting until I pass it. :)
  7. Thanks, what is the "Cat exam"? Have not heard of that one?
  8. I am doing the NCSBN also, I find it good, but I don't think they've been around that long. I find a lot of errors in their questions (genuine errors - not being picky). But in all I think they are quite good, and I think their practice bank questions reflect the NCLEX the most from what I have seen out there so far: Saunders, Kaplan, Lippincott.
  9. @Henrica80: Hope to sit it in a few weeks too, but have not scheduled it. Hope you pass!
  10. Thanks! Working through NCSBN review program.
  11. I have been working through the NCSBN course online. I hope their questions are like the NCLEX though will have to wait and see about that. Have also worked through Kaplan text book... Do you have plans to sit it soon? I hope to sit it in a few weeks, but may not be able to as I heard lots of grads have just finished school and have priority over others… shall wait and see how it goes.
  12. I am a foreign trained nurse - trained in Australian 15 years ago, and I'm finding studying for this exam really tough! I failed one attempt of the exam... Makes me wonder if I learned anything in those 15 years! ... and obviously forgot everything I ever learned in my degree!
