  3. Thatguy- that totally blows!
  4. So as corny as it sounds i am a die hard greys anatomy fan. I know its a tv show but i am hoping to find "my person" in my program, someone who i get along with, is on the same level as me mentally and has the same kind of passion for the medical field as i do. I have 1 close friend who ive know since we were 13 , but she lives states and states away. I keep my circle small due to prev "friends" who dropped the ball on me, does anyone else feel this way? Or has anyone found their person in their field? Sent from my iPhone using allnurses
  5. Dont be afraid, as long ad you understand the mAterial and can do the work you will be fine, just because one person previously did not pass does not mean it was because their first lang was not english, it could have been because they did not study enough, or had too much going on and was not focused. Im assuming the director did not and cannot go further into why they did not pass, so do not dwell on someone else. Stay focused!
  6. Thanks that was a great reply!!
  7. Thats a good one. Im pretty organized , so i just need to set up a plan...i dont have all the details of my program yet so im waiting for all the pieces.
  8. Thank you, definitely needed to hear that. I know its going to be stressful and im prepared for it. I know that the time away i spend from my family now will only better our lives in the future.
  9. I start my nursing program in the fall and I've been working at this for 5 yrs... I am beyond ecstatic about it still kind of in shock too, i feel mentally prepared for the program itself, but what I'm nervous about is how to juggle school and my family. I need to put school first without actually putting my kid on the back burner...i have been told by nurse friends that i have to make a plan and stick to it... Library/study time and family time. At this rate i am willing to do whatever it takes to get thru it because i know thats the hardest part. Any advice on what will make it easier... Or anyone else gone thru or going thru the same thing?
  10. I agree i prefer to write by hand and then maybe retype it, id wait until you start school and then see.. Ipads r fun tho :) Sent from my iPhone using allnurses
