Hello I am having some difficulty in seeing the difference between being registered or certified for a medical assistant. Does one get paid more than the other? Is an employer more apt to hire one vs the other? The program I am in is for being registered. Any advice would be great.

Fellow nursing students I have ran into an issue and need some assistance. I was on the right track to applying for the LPN Program at my community college until I got in a car accident which put me in the ER all day and cause me to miss my biology lecture and lab. Long story short they would not excuse my absences so I had to withdraw. The deadline for LPN applications is before the Spring 2015 class end date which is May 2nd. I am trying to find an accredited online school that has a general biology class that will transfer. Any ideas or suggestions.

Hello! I am signed up and ready to start the CNA glass at GTCC Wendover this June. I am aware that the scrubs are not needed for the first day but I would like to go ahead and buy everything I need but the manual was not very specific as to what kind of top (besides white) we are required to buy. Is there a limit on the number of pockets or style for the scrubs? Also is there a good place in or around Greensboro to buy some scrubs? Any other additional information will help as well.

Hi! Are you attending the June 2 - Sept. 3 (night) CNA class? If so, which campus? I am going to the Wendover campus because the Jamestown parking is so frustrating. I just got my certificate in Medical Office Administration and am now trying to get my classes in order so I can apply for the LPN program next year. I am not sure which classes I will need to take since I moved here from out of state during high school. Hopefully we'll be in the same class and if not I'm sure we could still give advice back and forth
