  1. Those who passed on 2nd attempt please
  2. Need Help/insight/advice. I took Nclex beginning of Oct. after studying with Uworld- I ran out of time at 170 questions and received letter today saying "near passing in all subjects." I "thought" I would finish near 75 questions and when I didn't it made it just worse and it was like so many horror stories I have read. I really had to try to just calm down and focus. I did Uworld 50's/60's and last 75 questions I did, 80%. I am not sure what went wrong but I am ready to regroup. I know I was really really nervous and I felt like in so many that it was like an eye test- "which is better, a or b" and then having to choose between the two but having a hard time. I kept looking at the clock but at that point I was in slow motion. I would really appreciate any help/insight. (My test was all over the place). When I left I felt like I totally bombed (many things I felt like I had never heard of) and thought if I didn't pass, I wouldn't even know where to start studying again. I guess the good news is I was close to passing but that really isn't quantifiable to me. How close is near???? Thanks in advance
  3. Hi Bkwalker- took test on Oct 4th after doing uworld- I ran out of time at 170 questions and got near passing in all subjects. I "thought" I would finish near 75 and when I didn't it made it worse and it was like so many horror stories I have read. I really had to try to just calm down and focus. I did Uworld 50's/60's and last 75 questions I did, 80%. I am not sure what went wrong but I am ready to re-take it. I know I was really really nervous and I felt like in so many that it was like an eye test- "which is better, a or b" and then having to choose one but having a hard time. I kept looking a the clock but at that point I was in slow motion. I would really appreciate any help/insight. When I left I felt like I totally bombed (many things I felt like I had never heard of) and thought if I didn't pass, I wouldn't know where to even start as I did study, so I guess the good news is I was close to passing" but that really isn't quantifiable to me. Thanks in advance
  4. Hi, I am following up to see if you passed the 2nd time (I think I am going to have to take a second time) and what your advice is- I used Uworld, all 2000 and was sccoring in the 60's but felt horrible in, and after the test. It felt like I hadn't even studied and I did wuite a bit. Thanks in advance-
  5. Thank you!
  6. Hi I am scheduled for next week- can you please let me know how it was for Pharm? I have been sing Mark K's audio/lectures and Uworld- understand Mark well but his material sounds like it is more general like the Nclex? Uworld is SO specific esp. with med and I finished my 2 final tests with 52%; if it were the Nclex I would have passed but barely passed. It makes me really nervous to go into the exam that close and have the extra nerves to deal with - I really appreciate your feedback-
  7. Hi, can you tell me if you had a lot of pharm questions; I am having a really hard time the way that Uworld presents it (4 pts with disease, a particular med they are on for something else and 1 pt has off lab result related to the med). I am scheduled to take it next week but feeling really anxious
  8. Thank you and congratulations! So does this mean you are now "good to go" and can now apply for jobs with your RN # that is listed?
  9. After passing NCLEX in CA, how long until it is posted on BON website and, when can yoou apply for a job. I am a bit concerned because I "thought" that if you took it and passed it, is posted within a few days and then employers can look it up online. But now I am hearing it takes 6-8 weeks for you to be able to apply for jobs and be official. Appreciate the help and hoping this is not correct (I have number to take test and plan on doing that in 3 weeks; I am in Northern CA).
