Has anyone out there applied to a VBSN program yet? Has anyone started one? Did you see a difference between your program and the normal ABSN at the school you are attending?

This thread is set up for GWU Fall 2015 ABSN or VBSN applicants.

I turned down my spot last week. I think it should be soon-- probably the first couple weeks of May at the latest...

I already had an ISIS account from fall semester Biostatistics. I have two records now- one for MSN and one for special undergrad. It could mean something or it could just be a placeholder.. Fingers crossed!

Well-- I have a whole MSN student profile in ISIS that was formed on Feb 16th... But no notification.... Hmmm... Congrats to all who heard officially!

Yep! Been accepted as part of the VBSN (ABSN)!

Definitely check out the community colleges-- especially those that are accepted by the schools you are looking to attend.

Check out Shenandoah University in Virginia. They have an ABSN and then they are one of the top midwifery programs in the country- you also get a 50% tuition waiver on your MSN if you graduate with their ABSN...

Taking them together is tough, but doable. Make sure you have a lot of study time set aside!
