Will withdrawing hurt my chances to get into UTHSCASA
I called UTHSCASA and they said they look only at test scores and GPA. TAMUCC said they wouldnt factor it in. This ffeels unreal. Is it because I already have a degree?

Will withdrawing hurt my chances to get into UTHSCASA
I have two withdraws so far. One from an engineering draft course when I was going one way. Then I withdrew from elementary stats due to work scheduling conflicts. Now it looks like I'll have to change locations and withdraw from microbiology and stats again which I'm taking this semester. Is this a death blow for me? I'm looking at TAMUCC nursing or UTHSCASA.

What school did your friend go to? Is it really that bad to find a job?

Post Bac Looking to become a Nurse
Another reason for joining is using the Loan Repayment Program to pay back my loans. I owe $50,000 for my bachelors. I cant secure any more loans for another bachelor's degree. The thing that troubles me is the recruiter told me to do a line test but I suspect I'm heading to MEPS. Isnt that where the swearing in and confirmation of the MOS is done? I'm 23 right now turning 24 in October. After four years active I'll be 28. After two years nursing I'll be 30 with a BSN. Is that okay to be that old?

Post Bac Looking to become a Nurse
Hello, I am a '13 college grad who decided not to go to law school after some soul searching. I have a GPA of 3.62 in Env Studies and am trying to decide what to do now in my life. A Navy recruiter walked up to me in the aisle at Walmart and was talking to me about enlisting as a Hospital Corpsman to gain experience for nursing that I am certainly lacking. Is there any advice? Are there any veterans who enlisted here?
