  1. Why can't you gown and glove yourself? You should be able to if you're scubbing in regardless of the point in the surgery you are scrubbing in.
  2. I am looking forward to replies, I am interested as well.
  3. I took the NCLEX this past Wednesday. I used Uworld, I felt their SATAs really helped me. My test shut off at 75 questions and I had 30 SATA. I just found out this morning that I passed. I started out using other resources ( NCSBN course, VATI ) and towards the end of my studying I exclusively used Uworld. I had a lot of anxiety leading up to my exam, and I was surprised at how easy I thought it was. My Med surg 2 final was a lot harder. Christina
  4. When she says scrubs she means Surgical Technologists.
  5. GinnyMi thanks for sharing! Wow, sounds like you had an amazing experience.
  6. go to NRSNG Academy. They have a free med surg course you can sign up for and lots of downloadable cheat sheets. a resource I used a lot in med surg 1 and 2.

  9. It wasn't a rude question. There wasn't a need to be rude.
  10. I wish I could afford kaplan. its too expensive. I will be taking NCLEX really soon.
  11. When you retake an ATI exam it's never exactly the same exam, you may see similar questions but it will be a different exam.
  12. Thank you! :)
  13. Thank you for sharing your story. I am taking a 5 week course with NCSBN, I heard the same thing about Kaplan!
  14. Thanks for sharing your story!!! New grad here waiting to take NCLEX, I read your story wondering and hoping I could react calm and collected!
  15. Thank you so much! I wish you luck as well! Nursing school is hard but it is worth it! Please post about your experience.
  16. I finished my Associates degree program today, pinning and graduation is a couple of weeks away. Im feeling excited, happy and overwhelmed! Is it normal to feel worried about what you don't know yet or things you haven't done? I am taking a prep course for the NCLEX so when I get my approval to test I can schedule to take it ASAP! Can anyone share their NCLEX stories with me or how they felt when finishing their program?
  17. I have had a very similar experience. I usually range from 84 to mid 90's. First test of the new semester I get a 74. I feel so discouraged right now.
  18. oh wow so they just gave it to the students that failed to boost their grade? not fair at all! If they give to one then all students should get it!
  19. That's great!!!! I am so happy for you! :)
  20. I had the same thing happen to me with my Statistics final last fall! My professor lost my exam, could not find it, I had to retake the exam!
  21. Wow! Thank you for sharing. How is your dad doing now?
  22. Its still a Fundamentals level test. You just will get different questions.
  23. Don't give up! You can do it! Just try to work on your anxiety. I remember having anxiety during my fundamentals bedside assessment! I was so nervous my lab instructor made me leave and come back an hour later.
