  1. Any tutors in Miami?
  2. I have the study guide, it's a waste. The person starts off ALLLLLLLLLLL bullets on ALL 97 pages with "realize that...". Just seeing that alone annoyed me. Repetitive. It's Kaplan & Saunders rationales divided into sections like "cardiovascular, GI,...". Thankfully I got it for free because I would've been VERY upset had I paid $50 for it. If you REALLY know how to use google, you'll find the PDF. That's just my take though. Others might find it helpful.
  3. Don't be scared. Everyone's situation is different. Unfortunately in my case, it wasn't a good turnout. It might be a great one for you. Stay positive!
  4. Took my test LAST Thursday (May 1) and got the same pop-up. Waited almost 7 beyond stressful days (the pop-up disappeared last night) & it took me to the CC page.
  5. Well, after almost 7 days of waiting, I just found out I failed. Pearson took me to the CC page. I'm devastated. It was my second try. I really don't know what I did wrong? I walked out feeling great because I knew I did everything I could to pass, but unfortunately, it wasn't good enough.
  6. Still on hold as of Monday, 1:02pm.. I'm on edge. Can you imagine? There's no link for quick results or anything else so I'm in "limbo"... I'm hoping I passed the "monster" and they're not making me wait so long for a fail
  7. Was that 97 page review worth the money?
  8. Your feelings are normal :) I'm sure no one feels 100% confident going into it. Relax & focus on something else the day of your test. On the way to my testing center I was sooooo nervous. I DLed one of those relaxation apps & listened to beach sounds the entire way there. Trust in yourself. If you find yourself overwhelmed while testing, sit back in that super uncomfortable chair, close your eyes & take a deep breath. Tell yourself "I can do this! I WILL do this. I worked so hard to get where I am & this test won't defeat me." Open your eyes and continue. Write your name on the board they give you with the letters RN after it (after the tutorial of course) & just look at that as well. It all helped me relax. Best of luck!
  9. I agree with ATI being the worst. Used it through Nursing school and not one of us found it useful. Of course, everyone is different, but I've heard more bad about ATI than good. PS: I CANNOT emphasize enough, STUDY infection control and priorty (ex: who would you see first... which order would a nurse need to clarify...) Besides SATA, most of my test was on that.
  10. Thank you dbrenda1510! I called today at 2:30pm (FL time) and they were closed. Very odd because they're supposed to be open until 7pm. Anywho, no, it won't let me continue to register after I get that pop-up. I took my exam Thurs. 5/1/14 at 2pm. It's now Fri. 5/2/14 10:30pm and I'm still getting the same "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time" pop-up. I went onto the FL-BON website and it says "waiting for score" under results. I do know that I could either pass or fail. I know a guy who waited 11 days with the hold message and he failed. I'm a nervous wreck because now it's the weekend & I'll probably have to wait until Monday. Ah!
  11. Over 24 hours & still on HOLD. My nerves are shot!
  12. It took me 3 hours to complete & my fingerprints didn't give them a problem at all. LOL, I saw the popup & didn't read the entire thing & jumped up for joy thinking it was the "good popup". I was so disappointed when I sat back down to re-read it. I'm crossing my fingers I'm not let down.
  13. So, I just took my NCLEX-RN & did the PVT trick and got the "results on hold" popup. Went to question 83 (took me almost 3 hours - 12 SATA, SOOOOOO many priority, who should you see first), however I did take a bathroom break. When you take breaks are your results automatically put on hold?
  14. That's the same technique I've been using to study. Seems to help me as well. Also, the Saunders book (blue one) is filled with SATA questions and their rationales are AWESOME. It helped me better understand my mistakes.
