do you read everything?
hey~ i know it's soo much reading and it takes alot of time and effort! i usually do everything i am supposed to do, that is, until i see the first test and get a feel for my prof's! you can usually tell after the first test how much detail the prof puts on the exam, if its based on the book or on his/her lecture notes....hope this helps~ good luck!!

How to become an NP?
thank you all so much....i sincerely take your advice, as i will definitely wait several years before becoming an np! i just don't understand one thing....when i look at certification requirements to become an np most say that you must have an msn or higher?? does this just depend on the program? the only reason i am asking is because i would have to go to school for 4 additional years to get my np - 2 years for my msn and 2 years for np? does this make sense or am i understanding it wrong? thanks again for everything! :thankya:

What to expect as an ED nurse?
hi all, i will be graduating from my bsn program soon and i am starting to think about what floor i would like to work on. i am really interested in working in the ed, however, i am not too sure what to expect. i am an er fanatic and hope that real life is like the show....somehow i highly doubt that though! is nursing in the ed very stressful?? i am a bit nervous i won't be able to handle it?! also, many places i have looked at require at least 1-3 years experience before being able to work as an ed nurse? is this true for all places? if so, what should i do for experience....in terms of what floor and/or what specialty to get the 1-3 years experience? please, any advice, experiences, thoughts...are appreciated! thanks!! :)
