  1. FNP is definitely the most competitive specialty. A strong personal statement with evidence of volunteering, work experience, and extra curricular activities will help for sure! Your GPA is so strong! So sorry to hear about your decision
  2. find "OSU Grad Entry 2018"!
  3. I can make the Facebook group!
  4. im so, so sorry guys best of luck to you!
  5. . I'd love to see what the admission letter looks like! Hopefully this means they're rolling out soon??
  6. Yes, the timeline they gave us late December and last year's did hear back on the 20th, so I would hope we get ours earlier since we interviewed earlier!! Just a couple more weeks :)
  7. No, I will plan on making one once we get accepted!
  8. I'm looking for 2 roomies FYI!! Any girl that get accepted, let's talk !!
  9. I'm pretty sure for grad entry students, they make you complete the entire thing in person. I'm sure after the program you could do online post masters certifications. I know at Case Western you can complete the masters portion long distance
  10. No problem!! I've seen previous threads and they helped me a lot as i was considering this program so I figured starting one for the cohort I'm actually applying to would be extremely helpful! In regards to UC, they have a grad entry MSN program, but it's only MSN and then walk out as a masters prepared nurse generalist, not a nurse practitioner.
  11. I'm majoring in health Sciences! Yea, I saw this NP program as sort of just a grad program like med school or PA school and wanted to get right into it after I graduate!
  12. I am currently finishing up my undergrad here at OSU, and currently work as a nurse assistant at the OSU wexner medical center James cancer hospital!
  13. I applied to case western reserve university in Cleveland also! I like they're program because they don't make you choose your specialty right away and they also give you the opportunity to specialize in acute care so that's cool! But it's double the price of OSU sadly
  14. I totally heard of worse and similar stories and not just a few, like a bunch of them. I don't think the interviews were totally designed to be perfect and I don't think it has much of an impact!
  15. The way in introduced myself was awful and super awkward but I think it'll be okay!
  16. Omg!! Girl let's chat about this! I'll message you
  17. I currently go to OSU for undergrad and will graduate in December, and am doing WHNP as well!
  18. Will any of my fellow female (hopefully) future classmates be looking for roommates near campus if you get accepted???
  19. Raeli: once they finally got all my materials, it tools 3 weeks total including the interview! That was also based on when I scheduled my interview and stuff
  20. Ahh I got my interview for women's health! I was looking at the wrong email lol!
  21. Okay that's good to know! Gosh I'm super nervous now! I really hope it takes more than one day to get the invites out..I just couldn't imagine why I wouldn't get one!
  22. Does anyone's buckeye link application say anything different in regards to the interview ?
  23. Hey guys, I created a thread for this current cohort, if you search "Grad entry" it's the one that says 2018!
  24. Yayayay!! Still waiting for mine
